Hi, For some reason the disk will not play. You push the eject button over and over again, but the disk slot will not open. Here's one solution... * 1 Turn off the DVD player. Wait a few minutes, turn the DVD player back on, and then press the "eject" button. If this does not work, turn it off and unplug the DVD player...while you keep pushing EJECT button plug the DVD and turn it on (your hand still on the eject..) is should come out.. * 2 ..if it does not eject , unplug the DVD player again, Remove the screws off DVD on the sides and take off the DVD casing. * 3 Look for the DVD holder inside the DVD player. This device holds the DVD in place while the DVD player reads the disk. * 4 Push the stuck DVD disk toward the front of the DVD player until the DVD ejects. Remember the DVD player is not on and some force ( gentle ! ) must be applied. * 5 While it is open, plug it on and place a DVD disc just to see if mechanism works properly.. * 6 Replace the casing and the screws. Plug the player in and turn it on. Put another DVD in to test whether the player is finally working .. Hope this helps!.. try these: Try turning the ps3 on and off and then hitting eject. Do Not try to open up the playstation. You may do more damage than good. Try to halfway insert another game, cd, or dvd into the playstation 3 and press eject. Here's the one that worked for me. I slid another compact disc into the console almost all the way but still holding on to it and pushed up as I pulled the disc back out. To my suprise another disc began to slide out with it. I had no idea how many discs were actually inside the ps3, but when I hit eject the original game that was in there still would not come out, so I new something still wasn't right. I repeated the process a few more times and low and behold, I had a total count of four, aside from the game. At last, eject finally pushed hubby's NBA Live out of the playstation.
Try inserting a small pin through the hole beneath the insertion cabin, after pressing the eject button. If you don't have such a hole, Push the eject button and tap hardly on the top of the player. The drive will come out in two or three attempts.
The same thing happens to me all the time.
Ok so, you have the cd in ur laptop. Restart your laptop and hold the "eject" key until it comes back to your desktop. If your computer cant restart, hold down the power button till its off then turn it on again and hold the eject button. And hopefully it will come out.
actually it is due to faulty disk or dirty lens sometimes , when the lens is dirty it keeps on trying to read the data from cd or dvd and it just cant stop that infact stuck in it , or the other reason is faulty loading gear , in either case u have to physically dis assemble the player , remove the top cover some 4 or 6 screws are there in place open the top cover see the cd /or dvd and remove it physically do not force anything hard when removing the media and then if u can see the lens of ur player just clean it with a soft cloth with ur fingers in cicular motions very gently and u will see that it will play dvd /cd fine , the other thing if the loading gear is faulty or broken then u can ask me more on this
I had the same problem... my DVD took one in even though it already had one in there... Tweezers did not work until we used a pie server covered in masking tape with the DVD attempting to eject and then grabbed one DVD out. The DVD player works too!
