My first thought is if the oven is standard 220 three or four prong electric, for safety, go to breaker switch panel,"in House or outside of house", open pannel door and find the breaker switch marked for "oven" or "kitchen utility" . it will be a double switch of 20 to 25 amp ,"each". or it will b One breaker switch of 45-50 amp. ,switch it to off. then see that the oven has no power, the stove top as well as the lights and the oven .try to unlock it now. by lever or button ? then if not unlocking turn the breaker back on and try it again. hope it works for you.

Whilst heating up food in BeauMark oven, as it reached 425 degrees, it automatically shut off and locked oven door.

Question edited for clarity and typos.

If it has a self cleaning oven, it may have confused itself. This is a little known make, so some of the ideas in the link are generic. My advice is to flip the breaker tonight before you go to bed so it does a power reset to the control board.

Why is the oven stuck with a "Door Locked" error?

Just guessing but did you just use the clean cycle???? During clean, the oven temp gets high enough to trip the door lock safety thermostat. This is to keep owners from trying to open the door when oven is too hot from clean cycle. It sounds like that safety didn't reset to normal when it cooled off and therefore the door is still locked. With door locked you may need to get oven out of the wall and remove top cover to get to the lock system and thermostats. Make sure power is off before doing any of this.

How do I fix an oven lock on a self cleaning Kenmore built in dual ovens? The oven locked up during a clean oven cycle and will not unlock.

Some ovens will not open unless the clean button or knob is set to Clean. Make sure you are trying to open in correct direction. Try turning it on and off and press down on the latch while trying to open. I would not use a crow bar, this can be done. If you unplug it and wait for it to reset after about 30 seconds it might let go. Just keep playing mine stuck once and it was because I flipped the clean switch off an turning it back on ready to start the cycle pulled back on it and it opened. Oh I remember my neighbor had a older style dial clock and she set the clock for a certain time to stop and the door would not open until she ran the clock to that time spot. Hope this helps. I wish I knew how to open it from the electrical side but I dont.

Door will not open and oven will not shut off

The door latch will open after the shut down, therefore go to the home circuit breakers and shut off the power to the oven. Wait a few minutes and try to open the door. If still locked, reset the power to the on position and see if the oven rest and shut down properly and the door lock released.

No power, door locked

there are 2 thermal switches within the component area in front of the fan of the oven, they open and close like a switch at certain temps,if one of these go bad (stays open after oven clean cycle)and oven cools then it wont let power back to the unlock motor, you can access these switches and bypass them to test them,if lock works then merely replace that particular switch

Self cleaning lock is in lock position and oven door is open.

Hi,
Cycling the power off and then on again will sometimes reset it...often you will have to call the customer service number to get the steps to take to unlock that...

Kenmore Electric Range Slide in....beeping while not in use

Hard wiring is O.K. and really better because you don't have to fool with the plug and the loss of or poor connection there. You can just turn the power off at the breaker. Without knowing what the F9 error code is, you may have a problem with the board inside the control panel. To get the door open, try to push and hold door closed at the same time. This may loosen the tension on the closer and allow it to open. Pull the lever to open it. If not, try to moderately tap on the door where it latches and it may open then. Next, slide a thin screwdriver into the latch and free it up there. Once the door opens, I believe your oven will work. The oven believes it is in the self clean mode. When you get the door open, turn on the oven with the door open and it should heat. If it does not, check the wiring in the back and you may find that one of the wires has burned off the control switch for the oven. I know this sounds like a lot, but it should save you a tech call and a couple of hundred dollars. Hope this helps.
