I touched something on dial pad, now we can't receive calls. What did I do and how do I fix it

Your phone intelligently shows you people you dial the most. You can touch the Dial pad option at the bottom of the screen to launch the dial pad option to call people.

If you have memory card into your phone remove then try if it work,insert low memory....touch problem so,go cervicing center.

This may be something as simple as REVERSING the line wires or a bad tone pad. Some pre 1980's tone pads didn't have polarity guard (EPG) and that's what we used to restrict dialing on touch tone lines (poor man's dialing restriction).

You can open up the jack the phone plugs into and reverse the red and green wires, or open up the phone and do the same thing. If it were my choice, I'd reverse the jack. If that doesn't fix it, pry off the faceplate cover over the dial, read the part number on the right side of the tone pad and post back. I'm sure I have an equivalent in the warehouse (outside of my 2 TT Mickey's) that I can give you a price on.

Usually you can click the green phone button and it will bring you to a list. Sometimes of calls you have recently dialed or of all calls (received, missed, and made) and maybe try click your right arrow on the key pad... and it should go from something like all calls to recieved calls to missed calls... Really depends on your phone!

Turning Call Divert On

Step 1 Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone.
Step 2 Press the Divert On button if using an Optus OneTouch phone, or dial *78 from any other touch tone phone.
Step 3 Listen for three beeps followed by a continuous tone.
Step 4 Dial the telephone number to which the calls are to be diverted.
Step 5 Listen for two short beeps, confirming the diversion.
Step 6 Replace the receiver


Turning Call Divert Off

Step2 Press the Divert Off button if using an Optus OneTouch phone, or dial #78 from any other touch tone phone

Other Call Divert Options - Selective Calls
With selective call options, you can choose which numbers you wish to divert, accept or reject by adding these numbers to a list. You can list up to 30 numbers for each call option.

Turning On or Off Selective Call Options

Step1 Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone
Step2 Press the access code for the service you require. You will hear a prompt telling you the status of the service and how many telephone numbers you have on your list. To turn the service on/off press 3.

Access codes Dial
*63 for Selective Call Divert Dial
*68 for Selective Call Accept Dial
*60 for Selective Call Reject
Step3 For Selective Call Divert you will then hear the 'divert to' number that is currently entered. If this number is correct press 1. If it is incorrect, press 0, then re-enter the phone number you wish to have your calls diverted to. When turning this feature off dial 3 again.
Step 4 The feature is now on/off.
Step 5 Replace the receiver.


Note: You can divert calls to a local, national or mobile. However, you cannot divert calls to emergency, 0055, 1900, 008, 1800, 0050, 13, 1300 or international numbers.

The touch-screen of my china phone is not working. The four keys on the bottom are working. I can receive calls thru on key but can not dial a number except the last dialed or received.

THere Is A Setting Where You Can Make It Answer Using either THe Touch Screen, THe Dial Pad.Or Any Button

Please reset your phone by removing the battery from the back for 5mins.Connect the phone to the power cord and then reinsert the battery again.Then press and hold the power button for 1 min.This should fix the issue.If you still face any problems then you will have to get it repaired.I hope your Phone is under warranty.
