Does the blu and yellow parking break wire and the black and yellow breaklight wire need to be hooked up in order for to be able to access the manual crossover and equalizer functions of the deck?

If shifter handle is loose(indicator not correct) check the under dash shifter cable holder bolts(loose?).

parking brake: blue light green

For this last wire, access the back of the parking brake to find a switch with a blue wire. Peel some insulation from the wire and wrap the stripped end of a 3 foot piece of 16 or 18 gauge wire around the stripped section. Solder and wrap the connection with electrical tape, route the wire to the jvc, then strip and solder the other end to the pigtail of the head unit.

If you are also installing a camera seeing behind you when backing, you will need to run a wire to the back-up light on the driver side reverse light (light green) wire along with your video cable.

yOU WILL HAVE TO PLACE THE sWITCH IN THE STEARING COLUME IT COST ABOUT 90 DOLLARS.

The yellow/black wire is for the foot brake and the yellow/blue is for the parking break. These wires need to be hooked up in line with the pinch connectors to the correct wire. The yellow/black wire needs to hook up to the wire to the foot break lead wire before the switch and the yellow/blue needs to hook up to the lead wire before the parking brake switch. This is a sefty feature to deactivate the video display because it is illegal to have video in the view of the driver while the vehicle is moving. These wires are used to tell if the car is stopped.

NOTE: This vehicle is equipped with a passive immobilizer that needs to be bypassed for remote start operation only. Use DEI part number 555U to bypass. *1 The DDM (drivers door module) is located in the center of the drivers door. *2 Requires a double pulse to unlock. *3 Parking lights require a negative trigger with a 1800 ohm resistor in-line to the white/green wire. Using a negative trigger with a 780 ohm resistor in-line to the same white/green wire will turn on the headlights as well as the parking lights. *4 This wire may cause the aftermarket alarm to false when the vehicles electrical system shuts down. Use a relay to isolate it. *5 The FEM (Front Electronic Module) is located in the drivers kick panel. In order for the video to work you need to hook up both the parking and the foot brake leads so you would have to press in the foot brake pull the ebrake let up on the foot brake then the video should come up but if u want to watch videos all the time moving or stopped youll need to do some custom work so:

Short of making a microprocessor to do the sequence the easiest way is the two switch method. just mount two switches together and do the sequence.

Although the idea of only one switch and the foot brake hooked up correctly might work too.

The best way to go about it is to hook up the system as is should be and use a voltmeter to see what voltage changes are on the lines. Then hook up the switches accordingly.

you just need to hook up the foot brake wire (yellow and black) and hook up the parking brake wire (yellow and blue (looks green) ) set the parking brake then press and release the foot brake and your dvd picture will play

Simple if you don't know where to ground the wire to, just ground it with the ground wire of the radio. Twist the pink and black wires together, then put them with the black ground comming from the car. Hope this helps.

have we spoke before in previous post?
the red can go to any 12v live peramanent such as wire to clock or other item that has power with ignition off and the same with the yellow if your putting these to the same permanent live say from clock you can join these to together red/yellow to red on clock
the black can go to any metal or neg wire.
This should then have your device working the only problem im looking at for you now is the pink wire as this stops you using the device whilst driving as it goes to handbrake but i need to find out if its live or negative.
You could just wire the red/yellow to live and black to earth then see if it switches on and works if not then let me know and ill see about the pink wire ok
Makes sure you use inline fuses on the live wires so as not to short the device out.
Make sure you know what is permanent live to put the yellow/red wire to.
It doesnt need to be ignition it only says this so you cant use it with ignition off but you can wire it into any live feed from clock or switches so its up to you what to wire it to its just the pink wire im concerned about.

PINK: does it tell you to put it to live or earth on handbrake switch?

you need 2 toggle switches . yello/blue wire to switch - switch to ground.
yellow/black wire to switch- switch to red ing. wire. turn this switch on and pulse the other(yellow,blue) 3 times and leave on, then turn the other switch off and then you can ride and watch dvd. just did it this morn. QTRHRS
