Where can I buy a replacement shaft assembly Part# 3015-1

Sounds like a bad formatter. I would try a firmware upgrade first and if unsuccessful, would replace the formatter. These formatters are infamous for failure.

Dear ejc, I think this a very simple problem for which you had done a difficult work. If you don't hesitate a simple advice, than warm a bunch of paper with a 100wt bulb or room heater. Use the warm paper in your printer and I hope it can solve your problem. Because it is a simple problem always shown with laser printer and the problem is moisture. by warming, the moisture will evaporated and paper will work smmothly. thanks.

You got to buy Adobe Acrobat Reader or similar programm to do this but not using your scan programm but the programms internal one (image aquire option).

Removing the Fuser in a HP 3015 printer is a delicate task that requires a lot of the printer to be disassembled. Because it is not an easy task to complete, the manufacturer (HP) does not recommend end-users performing such a task, as it is easily damaged and is not designed to be repaired.
However, if you wish to attempt the repair anyway, here are some instructions for how to do it: Fuser sleeves come with NO instructions, but you will need to remove one plastic guide that is held onto the fuser with a single screw. Release the two pressure springs, and then lift the assembly with the sleeve free on the non-gear end. Remove the black plastic guide from the end (gently pulling) and then slide the old sleeve off. Slide the new one on, and reinstall the black end-cap. Next replace the assembly, springs, and guide, and the refer back to the manual for reassembly. it costs more to remove the shaft, disassemble the shaft, replace the boot, reassemble and reinstall the shaft than to just buy another shaft and have it installed. the boots are put on in the shaft assembly process.

however if you have a warm, clean, dry place to work and a lift at your disposal you can buy a split boot replacement at any parts store and put it on. Its life will depend on how well you followed the installation instructions.

you can't just buy the joint it comes as a joint and half half shaft assmeby very cheap, the right and left are a different part number u don't give that info. also all wheel drive is different part # as well
