There are two ways to delete music from your iPod. The first is to delete songs in your iTunes library and have iTunes sync your library to your iPod automatically when you plug your iPod into the computer.
The second is to manually delete music by resetting the options to a manual setting and deleting music directly from your iPod without affecting the songs in your iTunes library. Follow these steps to delete music from your iPod.

How to Delete Music from iPod in Batch

Click on a category or playlist, which will bring up all the songs in the list in the main section of the screen. Choose on a song listed that you would like to delete and right click on it, then click "Delete" from the drop-down menu that appears to delete your song.

The easiest way is to open iTunes on your computer, and delete the song from iTunes.

Next, sync your phone. This will remove the song from your phone

1.Go to Settings
2. Go to General
3. Go to Usage
4. Wait for Storage to load
5. Go to Music and swipe
6. Delete will pop up
7. Press Delete
This will delete ALL songs, but will not remove the music app.

to delete music from your ipod you must delete it from itunes
connect the usb cord that connects your ipod and computer. open your itunes go to your music files right click to the song(s) you want to delete once you completed this steps SYNC your ipod. uplug your ipod this should help

Hi, Well if you have deleted the songs you can not recover them in any way.What you can do is to upload new songs through your PC to your MP3 player.

If you didn't have the songs on the iPad before you updated but you purchased it, there is a
feature enabled by default that shows all music. to turn it off go to settings/music/show all
music-off. Otherwise, to delete music, swipe from right to left over what you want to delete.

you should be able to go into itunes and delete the songs, then sync your iphone again. If that doesn't help then I would go into the apple store and see why not. you can also just call apple for support for free if you are an at&t subscriber good luck
