I can't get the sound when playing my Panasonic SAPT480 DVD player on my LG UHD TV 4K 55UJ63. I have connected the HDMI cable and the white and red audio cables but no luck.

You shouldn't need red and white cables. Hdmi cable carry both; audio and video. Check settings on both devices if sound over Hdmi is disabled. Maybe TV expect's sound via optiical cable or certain sound format need to be enabled or DVD outputs sound in format not supported by your.

I want to upgrade to a 4k tv but my home theater does not support 4k. Can i run sound only thru it?

You can run the sound to the home theater system in many cases. It depends on the home theater system and the TV. If the home theater system has a digital audio input, it is easy to connect most 4K TVs. Connect the 4K source to the HDMI or Displayport connector on the TV. Check whether the digital audio uses an optical cable or a coaxial cable. Make sure that the TV has the matching output and get the correct cable. Set the TV to use external speakers (under the Audio part of the setup on most TVs) and turn off the internal speakers.

Very few 4K TVs have analog audio output. If your home theater system only has HDMI and analog (RCA red/white) audio inputs, you will need a digital to analog audio converter and both digital and analog audio cables. The converter will look like this: https://www.amazon.com/Gefen-Digital-Adapter-Converter-GTV-DIGAUD-2-AAUD/dp/B0013LWK3A .

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the make and model of your home theater system if you need a more specific set of details about doing this.

How do I change my LG 4k to a higher resolution.

It depends on your source video resolution. If you're willing to play in 4K, you can upscale your 1080p or 720p video to 4K resolution in advance. Here is the video tutorial:
After conversion, it will be played in 4K on your TV. Of course, it's all based on that your TV supports 4K.

Can i add Cyber Acoustics 2.1 3-Piece Computer Speaker System with Subwoofer to my tv using roku3?

You can't use 2 different speaker systems connected to one device output.
You could connect the CA speakers connected to your Roku and improve your TV sound. You could also use your microlab speakers connected to your computer to augment your computer based audio.

How do u use a new mp3player like put music on the mp3player

Use Windows Media Player.

Once you plug in the MP3 player, open Windows Media Player and you should see it listed as a device. Right-click the device in the left-hand column of the Windows Media Player and click 'Set Up Sync'. Put a check in the 'Sync this device automatically' checkbox and then add one of your existing playlists that are in the list on the left side to the right side by selecting the list and clicking the 'Add' button, located between the two lists. If you don't have a playlist, you'll need to create one.

Once you have all the songs you want to add to your mp3 player added to your playlist, you can then select the device again, and click the 'Sync' tab at the upper, right-hand corner of your Windows Media Player and then click 'Start Sync' to sync the playlist with your mp3 player.

Any songs you want to add or remove from your device, you simply add or remove them from your playlist and then sync it again.
