Blue means that your system is not charging, when it is charging it should be pink/purple. when the battery is full it will turn blue. If the blue/pink light stay on it may mean that your battery is no longer charging completely. If it is still under warranty, get a replacement battery for free... otherwise it may be time to invest in a new battery.
all you have to do is, (Now, I know this may sound crazy but it will help) Take apart your camera. Disconnect the black cord wrapped around the blue cord. Pull out the yellow cord out and throw it away. That yellow cord is a virus which is causing your screen to go purple. Now reconnect the black cord and unwrap it from around the blue cord. This will cause your screen to not only turn back to normal but to hold 2x the space of pictures you would usually hold. If this doesn't work, then stop being lazy and buy yourself a new camera. Yes, I'm talking to you granny!!
Good day my fellow American citizens. I really do hope this works. Thank you for your time. ;)
Disconnect the TV from your sky box and watch TV with just aerial. If this cure the problem, then it is the sky box that may cause the problem. If not then your TV has a problem. Check the colour setting and make sure it is not in saturated mode. Otherwise take it back to the shop.
