That is usually caused from something getting stuck under it. Get a can of compressed air and use it with the tube that attaches to the can to blow out the debris under the space bar.

Hold down the ALT key.
Touch the SPACE bar.
Touch the S ("size" key).
Touch LEFT-ARROW key.
Repeatedly press the RIGHT-ARROW key to move the left edge of the window to the right.
Touch the UP-ARROW key.
Repeatedly press the DOWN-ARROW key to move the top edge of the window towards the bottom.
Touch ENTER to "commit" the changes.
Either you have purchased a defective digitizer or the connection from the digitizer to the logic board are not contacting as they should be. Remove the new digitizer and check all the teeth (connections on both sides) and see if any are bent or missing.
You can easily fix your space bar. I fixed mine last month when my daughter pulled it out of the keyboard. I used this video tutorial guide to help install the space bar key back into place. Its really very simple. have a look: http://www.laptopkey.com/installation_guides.php
You probably have the right margin set to close yo the lrft and have auto return on. To turn off auto ret. hold the code key and touch "R". To move the margin tab to the rt. side and touch rt. mar. key.
Heyo, the fan needs to be cleaned. Your environment air may be the culprit...if that is the case, I am sure the space bar is doing that for the same reason. If you can afford to take it to the shop to have the shell taken off and cleaned properly, I would do it.
