Could be the card is not used in a camera, but in a tablet. Also could be the card is not SD, but SDHC or even SDXC, while the device is only compatible with SD.

If you look carefully, what usually occurs is that it is the internal memory that is getting full. It is very hard to fill an SD card unless you have a LOT of pictures and videos saved. Some apps are written to allow them to be moved to and run from the SD card, others allow their data to be stored there, but unfortunately, most still seem to insist that they run exclusively on internal memory. This prohibits the ability to free up internal memory and eventually results in your having to decide which apps are more important than others. Cleaning up the memory by deleting data caches helps, but until the phone manufacturers either increase internal memory or insist that apps writers take advantage of SD cards when available, this problem will continue to haunt us all.

MEMORY FULL

The internal memory or the memory card of your camera is full. At least there is not enough memory free to save anything.
If you can't do anything, remove the battery, then remove the memory card and try to rescue the pictures on that card. There are recovery programs online, if you do have important pictures on the card. If you are ready saving, or you don't need anything from that card, try to format it on your PC. Just FAT will do. Then put the memory card back in and give it a format in the camera. Just to make sure the format is known bin your computer.
It could be there is no memory card in your camera at all, Because you forgot you did put it in another camera. Then just place a new one. BUT TAKE CARE. You only can use SD cards, because your camera is from before the SDHC period.
Or is a SDHC card in the camera already? that is the culprit.

Samsungphonecantdeletememory

This is going to be due to your internal memory being full if this is an android phone. go to settings then applications then manage applications and then look and see if your bar at the bottom is full or close to full. If its full try to move some stuff to the sd-card by clicking that tab. If you cant move any to the sd card try clicking the "all" tab and sorting by size if there's one that taking up a lot of memory either clear the data or simply delete it. hope this helps.

Memory SD full

Can you put the SD card in an external card reader and see any files? Did you format the sd cards in the camera? You should never format the cameras sd card with a pc.

Memory card is write protected

thought the cards have a little tab on them so they can be "write protected" it is a little plastic tab on the side of the memory1.gif card you slide up and down. I know most SD cards1.gif have it, CF cards dont so if its anything besides SD memory its probobly the memory card or some little switch or somthing in the camera that tells the camera when the card is in the "Locked" or "Write protected" mode.

Looking at my SD memory cards1.gif they have a little arrow on the edge and they say "Lock" pointing down, the slider is up. Move yours both ways, maybe it has a bad connection in the card (im not sure what it actualy does) or its in a position the camera thinks its locked?
