Brand new but makes a terrible noise whenever it is turned on. Has an exterior fan on the back to keep the back cool, which has been replaced ...but still unacceptably loud...so ghastly that I am unable to use it. Can the exterior fan be removed or should I send the whole oven back?

SOURCE: Oven fan noisy/broken

this noise probably means that the fan is about to stop working, this is what happened to mine. You can easily buy replacement fan off E-bay (it seems easier to find the right fan on e-bay that any of the confusing supplier sites). You then just need to remove the inside oven back and the outside electrical to replace the fan.

My Desktop PC assembled is emitting quite a bit of noise. Whenever an application or a download is started, the cpu usage shoots up and the noise / vibration also increases. What can I do?

I would think the SMPS fan, sounds like it's not keeping your computer cool. CPU fans usually never cause much trouble, but maybe you could look into getting quieter fans.

Jenn-Air Maytag double wall oven makes loud buzzing noise

There is a cooling fan for upper and lower oven they run at the same time no matter which oven in use it is fed from the oven manager no way to trouble shoot without pulling oven out some models use same fan for both so you could have a blower on hand remove back panels to access fans take a lead off fan to determine which one noisey

My Leisure HJA6100 icemaking unit is making a terrible noise, which stops when I open the freezer door. It's just a year old, what could be causing this noise?

Your evaporator fan motor would be the cause of your noise. Yes, it can be repaired, just need to replace the fan motor. The noise stops when you open the door because the fan motor turns off when the door is open.

I have a trane XB1000 unit (DOB around 2000). Was cooling fine, but noted a whining noise at the outside unit. Loudest near the base below compressor tank. Interior filter clean, a-coil fairly clean,...

If the sound is coming from the outdoor unit, check fan blade if unbalance and if the compressor is making the noise, an internal mounting spring must be broken, be ready to replace the compressor when the internal pipe got broken.

Majestic Electric Fireplace: Flame doesn't come on and fan is making alot of noise.

The flame doesn't come on, because the bulbs are probably burned out. As far as the fan noise is concerned, the fan probably needs cleaning and lubrication of the shaft from the blower motor. Keep in mind, whenever the blower is operated, it's taking in cool air at floor level, to heat it and send it back out via the fan. It sucks in dust, dirt, lint, etc while it's in operation.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

Cooling fan makes little noise now and then on my xj6.

mcdevito75, This could be some wear in the bearings of the cooling fan, keep an eye out for the noise getting worse, if so replace the fan with a new one. These cooling fans are sealed units so when the niose gets to be too much you"ll have to replace with brand new.

Refrigerator not cooling...makes hissing noise

From your problem description I would say it sounds like maybe the condenser fan is not running. If that fan does not run, the compressor will overheat, and get very unhappy, LOUDLY. There is a fiberboard cover on the back of the unit, unplug the unit, remove the cover and inspect the fan, it should turn freely if you nudge it with your finger. If it does not turn freely, you will need to make it so by lube, removing foreign object (dead mouse once for me) dust dragons etc... or replace the fan if necessary.
