It may just be a driver issue, try to use a plug in mouse or just key navigate to hardware manager and uninstall mouse pad driver, then reboot and it will self reinstall, then try to update driver through the hardware manager, other wise, go into bios on start up, search for mouse pad enable/disable make sure pad is enabled.

Assuming that you already powered off/on to reset it, then most likely the PAd itself is bad, you can buy a seperate new pad, but unless you know how to remove a BUNCH of screws and get to it then I would take it to a local shop or have a tech that advertises for 30-45 $ to do it.

Swintec 2000 Margin

You should reset the margins where you would like them. To do this, go the the file screen and press MARGIN. Press <--- to change the left margin, or ---> to change the right margin, or the up arrow to change the top margin, or the down arrow to change the bottom margin.

Do one at a time. When you choose one (i.e. <---), the message "LEFT MARGIN SETTING" appears on the screen and the cursor moves to the left margin column automatically. Move the cursor to the desired location by using the arrow keys. As you move the cursor, the corresponding margin mark moves along with it. The press "DO" to set the new margin.

Hope this helps.

How can I change the Resolution?

Olympus has its own way of showing the resolution settings. It is OK once you get used to it. Turn the Camera On. (On the back you will see an OK button surrounded by 4 arrows.) Press the OK button to bring up the menu. Press the left arrow button That should bring up a choice of: TIFF, SHQ, HQ, SQ1, SQ2 Use the up/down arrow buttons to move the cursor to SQ1 Then press the right arrow button That should bring up a choice of settings. Use the up/down buttons to select a setting. I suggest you select 2048x1536 (which is 3 megapixels) Then press the OK button. ................ You should think about getting a memory card with a greater capacity.
