Question about Hisense 32K20DW 32" 720p 60Hz LED Smart HDTV

The stand by power lite is steady until you try to turn the tv on, When the tv is powered up, the standby light blinks 6 times, the tv then turn off. no picture or normal sound. what do the six blink codes mean from the stand by light indicate?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. generally when you get a constant green light all is ok. these different lights indicate different problems within the tv. so the pattern of lights you mention suggests there is a fault of some kind (is there a troubleshooting section in your manual)? either way it needs to be looked at.

Sounds like main board to it is faulty. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. My power/standby red lite on my TV blink 6 times and the TV does not turn on, how do I fit this or do I need to call a service repair man?

Hi,

The Standby/Power light of the TV blinks when there is any internal malfunction in the TV. The self-diagnostic function of the TV will cause the STANDBY light to blink or flash when the television detects an issue. The number of times the STANDBY light flashes corresponds to a specific issue.
Few examples are given below; some of the issues may be resolved without the need for service.
1 blink / 2 blinks / 5 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a power-related problem with your set.
3 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a power-related problem with your set. The set will need to be serviced to allow a technician to determine the specific issue that needs to be repaired. If the power light flashes three times in sequence in a Lamp TV, the lamp cover is not securely attached. Reattach the lamp cover to resolve this issue.
4 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a back light or lamp power problem.
6 blinks: - This indicates that there is some kind of audio problem with your set.
7 blinks: - This indicates that there is a temperature problem with your set. Please check to make sure that the air vents on the sides and back of the set are not blocked or clogged and there is adequate ventilation around the television. We recommend that you check and clean the vents periodically to make sure the set receives adequate air flow. If the problem continues, the set will need to be serviced.

TV turns off but standby still blinking

Hello
Blinking of standby light in Sony sets are fault indications. Just count the number of blinks occur at a time, after switch OFF and switch ON your TV with its FRONT PANEL POWER CONTRO SWITCH. Make this test at least three times, and count the number of blinks keenly and inform me though Fixya. It will help me a great to rach to the faulty section, or even to the exact fault point sometimes. OK.

U check the power source?Take the tv aparts,check or replaced the power fuse,might get lucky.Not,than sorry,this tv can't be repair,without replacing electronic's componnents parts.Hire the same shop to do the repair.Ur tv power ICS inverter are dead.

I have power but it will not turn on. unplugged from power cord overnight then plugged into wall worked fine until i shut it off again, now it keeps blinking the delay light

My Sony trinitron has the stero lite on steady and standby lite flashes four times then pauses and repeats. Can you tell me the circuit/condition causing the set to not turn on.
