Assuming you have never played with the monitor's menu settings before, and most everything seems OK - but with a blue tinge, I would check the video cable. Make sure there are no bent or pushed pins, the cable has not been severely pinched with no cuts or frays. Also ensure that it is connected thumb-tight on both ends. If you still have the problem, substitute the cable with a known good cable. And then of course you can try the monitor settings, but I would need a model number to be specific. If you play with settings before checking the cable, be sure to note the current settings because you can cause a setting problem if your problem is something other than a setting problem, such as the video cable. If your computer has VGA/DVI/ or HDMI outputs and you have the cables, this could also be helpful in case your problem turns out to be your video card.

SOURCE: I have an HP7540 monitor

I hope you know how to enter and navigate through the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu of your monitor.
Enter the menu and navigate to 'Color' menu.
Under that select 'User'.
Now you can select either Red, Green or Blue.
After selecting a color it can be increased or decreased.
Press Exit button to go back, select the next color and set it to your liking.

HOW TO SET BRIGHTNESS OF THE SCREEN?

Hi,

Dear User...

You can adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor to improve the readability of text and to make digital pictures appear more like they'll look when printed.

To improve the results when adjusting the brightness and contrast settings for your display, use Display Color Calibration. (Display Color Calibration helps you adjust these color settings and others.) For more information about calibrating your display color in Windows, see Calibrate your display.

The way you adjust brightness and contrast varies and depends on your specific display.

ā€¢ Brightness and contrast buttons on the front of the monitor. Some monitors have brightness and contrast controls on the front and use the standard symbols shown in the following image.

ā€¢ On-screen menu. You can change the brightness and contrast settings for some displays by using an on-screen menu, and then setting the brightness and contrast in the resulting menu. Many times, you can view the on-screen menu by pressing a button-possibly labeled Menu-on the front of the monitor.

Thanks....

Lg flatron w1943tb color fades in and out to a blue green

Follow the following solutions, this should fix up your trouble
1. Turn yourmonitor on. It should be on for at least 20 minutes before you continue.
2.Press the"Auto/Select" button on the front of your computer's monitor. Thescreen will be wavy while the adjustment happens. When the screen stops beingwavy, the faded colors should no longer be visible.
Follow steps 1 and 2 if you do not have a disk for the monitor.

What does it mean by dead cells?

I assume this is related to your LCD monitor.
I think you mean dead pixels. The LCD monitor has tiny pixel elements, one for each red, blue, green color and each one of these colored pixels are turnes on by a transistor. When a transistor fails then the colored pixel it controls does not light up. This is a dead pixel and it shows up as a tiny black dot.
If the screen displays a blue screen, a dead blue pixel will appear as a tiny black dot in the blue screen.
You normally would not notice a few dead pixels unless they are grouped together.

Screen got yellowish color

Sounds like overstressed video cable, at least that wire for BLUE signal, 'cause when image is yellow - the BLUE color is missing.
Open the monitor and ring coaxial wire in blue insulation.

Acer CRT moniter 17" Model: AC713 dost not display any thing.

Ok if you prese the menu button on the monitor does the monitors setting menu appear on screen
If it displays adjust the contrast and brightness until a picture appears
If that does not work place a fringe magnet on one of the corners of the monitor if there is now green tinge around it than there is no electrons being fired at the screen and you have missed something so test every component

Sony VPL-CS5 menu will not display

Give input signal to the projector and see that if the menu appears or not on the screen.
if menu comes on the screen then put the backgroung color to blue, instaed of black.

if nothing comes on the screen, then the LCD panels are faulty.
