I have an error code of 7 Flashes = drive lever not central, but it is.

I have an error code of 7 Flashes, Should I dismantle & clean it or just replace the pot? It was working fine at Xmas. I drained the batteries and recharged them at xmas. BTW scooter has been out side for approx. 2-3 years with very little use only drove it around the garden in summer. I have sprayed all terminals with an electrical cleaner but all terminals were clean.

Quick fix so you can still use it. (But you lose reverse) Remove plastic dash unit & tiller section follow the wires from the trigger and remove the white plug. undo the two bolts holding the trigger in place and remove. Using a multi meter Measure the resistance (Kohms) between the Green & Red terminal then the Green & Black terminals the reading should be around 2.5 (IF IT IS VERY LOW ON BOTH READINGS THERES NO QUICK FIX) like 1 or even 0.5 (more likely the red as this is forward motion) then goto maplins or ebay and buy resistors 1000 ohms or 500 ohms in order to bring the reading close to 2.5 / eg (My reading was 0.5 so i used two 1000 ohms resistors soldered inline. Cut the red and black wires (approx middle) and solder the resistor/s on the red wire coming from the trigger to the black wire coming from the white plug. solder the other black and red wires together & insulate joins with tape or heatshrink. Now your scooter will only go forward by using the REVERSE LEVER the scooter will not go back wards if you press the forward lever it will bring up the 7 flashes error if you need to go backwards turn ignition off and lift the freewheel lever. Job Done (should take 2 hours work)

My Kymco mobility scooter is flashing 7 times .i see a answer is the drive lever is not engaged ,what is the drive lever

The drive lever on a Kymco mobility scooter is the lever that engages the motor and allows the scooter to move forward or backward. It is usually located on the handlebars of the scooter and can be controlled by the user. If the drive lever is not engaged properly, the scooter may not function correctly and could result in the flashing 7 times error code. You should consult your user manual or a certified Kymco dealer for more information on how to engage the drive lever correctly.

Red light on on my Buffalo HD

Red ERROR LED The way the unit gives diagnostic codes is by long and short flashes of the specific light. The number of long flashes give the first of two numbers and the number of short flashes give the second. For instance, one long flash and three short flashes would indicate an error of 13 -
E 00
(No light, beep only) - MPU error E 01 DRAM data line error E 02 DRAM address line error E 03 RTC chip error E 04 Flash rom error E 10 UPS power loss E 11 fan error (RPM too low or not functional) E 12 cooling error (unable to remove heat by the fan) E 15 disk error E 16 unable to locate internal HDD E 17 Unable to communicate with the RTC chip E 21 unable to communicate with the Phy chip E 22 mount error. The original Buffalo firmware has the following error messages based on the number of flashes:
3 Partition problem with hard drive. Reformat the hard drive. 4 Fan problem. 5 ROM problem. 6 Hard Drive can not be recognized. 7 Problem with motherboard (RAM, LAN, or Hard Drive controller). Exerted from http://buffalo.nas-central.org/wiki/Information/LSProLED

I hope this has been helpful, unfortunately without more information I cannot help any further.

Stops washing mid cycle flashes f11

Here is what the manufacture says about this error code followed by my comments.

Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the
Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
What to do:
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check wire harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and
Central Control Unit (CCU).
3. Check the drive system for any worn or failed components.
4. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
5. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any
cycle.
6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor.
7. Check the drive motor for powered rotations.
8. Check that the serial harness at the MCU is not mounted
upside down. The wires should be to the left when facing the
MCU connectors.

Phil's comments ---------->

This error usually indicates a failure of the circuit board that controls the motor. It is a repair I would suggest leaving to a professional as it can be tricky to diagnose the problem

FLASHING ORANGE LIGHT ERROR MESSAGES

Try counting the number of orange flashes.
* two flashes means you’re out of paper or the paper is not feeding correctly.
* three flashes means there is a paper Jam or the output tray is closed.
* four flashes means the ink tank is empty
* five flashes means the print head is not installed correctly or not installed or is defective (before buying a new print head always try the cleaning instructions at the end of this post first.)
* six flashes means the inner cover is open or not closed properly.
* seven flashes means you counted wrong.....
* eight flashes means the waste ink absorber is almost full or full.
* nine flashes mean that a digital camera or video that is connected is not compatible with the printer. If a specific amount of time lapses without getting a response from the digital camera or video camcorder this will happen.
* ten flashes means it can not print to both sides of the page
* eleven flashes means the automatic print head alignment failed. (this can be caused by low ink levels, ink tanks not being installed correctly, the print heads being clogged. It can also be caused by the paper output slot being exposed to a strong light source (Press the resume /cancel button and move the printer to a darker location and try to align the print head again.
* check to make sure the lock lever is correctly positioned (down)
If the above does not work, align the print head manually by opening the printer properties dialog box and clicking the maintenance tab and then select the print heal alignment button on the left side, second row down.

Washer wont agitate and then flashes F 25

Hi,

If you remove three screws along the bottom front the bottom panel comes off.
On the inside, on the right wall, is a plastic bag with a paper labeled "FOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN ONLY".
This has a section titled "FAILURE/ERROR DISPLAY CODES" with all the error codes along with an explanation and recommended procedure. For F25, this is:

DRIVE MOTOR TACHOMETER ERROR

If the control is unable to properly detect motor speed, the machine shuts down.
If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door unlocks after 3 Minutes.

Possible Causes/Procedure

1. Verify the shipping system including shipping bolts, spacers and the power cord are removed.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check drive motor tachometer resistance. It should be approx. 115 ohms.
4. Check wire harness connections between the drive motor and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU).
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor.
7. Check the drive motor for powered rotations.

I got this working for many on this site :)
