How do I get past the issues I'm having since trying to turn on my Moto G 1st generation protection on??? Can't get online now. HELP PLEASE!! :(
While trying to set up this protection...I get to #2 and when trying to add my Gmail address a pop up says: "The phone radio is unable to connect to the network. Make sure the radio is on or if it is on, move into a better coverage area and try again." ?????? I have great internet connection and had no issues until trying to turn this protection on. While still holding the VOL DOWN key, press and hold the POWER key
Hold both keys down for over 120 seconds. This is more than two minutes and will seem like a long time. You might want to time yourself to make sure you hold it longer than two minutes.
After holding the keys down for more than two minutes, release them.
The Flash Boot screen will display, and the Normal Reboot option will be highlighted
Press the VOL UP key and the device will start a normal reboot.
We're working to eliminate this issue in a future update.
UPDATE: If you have tried the above and it didn't work, try this:
That is really awesome! Congrats on getting a smartphone. Sounds like you might have a Moto G 1st Gen Motorola Moto or Moto G EXT (2nd Gen) Motorola Moto EXT

This is often caused by a 1st generation DVD-rom. If the drive is a standard DVD-rom and not a cd burner then i would recommend replacing the drive with something more updated and it will usually take care of the issue. other wise is it possable that the cd that you are trying to copy has copy protection on it? if so that could be causing issues.
kindly check the battery which might have been damaged.. it can happen for various reasons but the first try for u should be to figure out if there's any power related problem..????
