How to check the electric brake on a dewalt 706 type 1 chop saw

The power cord can get a break in it. Try moving it when this happens. Otherwise, the plug can fall out of the outlet. Sometimes the switch goes bad.

Need recipe to make pasta

Tips for Optimum Pasta
The dough should be evenly kneaded, and slightly moist to form a soft malleable dough. The dough should have the consistency which is not too dry or too moist.
•
The dough is too dry if it has a powdery, grainy consistency and breaks into small chunks. Add more liquid (water or vegetable juice) by the teaspoon until it has formed a smooth, malleable dough that is not sticking to the sides or the kneading spiral.
•
The dough is too moist if large lumps of dough remain stuck to the kneading spiral. Add flour by the teaspoon until it has formed a smooth, malleable dough that does not stick to the sides or the kneading spiral.
•
If you add a little bit of olive oil to the pasta dough, it will slide better through the outlet openings of the pasta attachments.
•
For the pasta dough, you can use both normal household flour as well as wholegrain flour, gluten free flour, or flour made from durum wheat semolina. Different types of flours will require a different amount of liquids. Reserve some liquid and add it slowly for best results. Document your process so you can repeat it in the future.
•
Vegetable juices made, for example, from spinach, carrots or tomatoes are ideal for adding color and nutrients to your pasta.
•
Sprinkle flour on your pasta directly as it emerges from the outlet opening and place it down separated on a smooth floured surface to dry. This will prevent the pasta from sticking together.
•
Cooking time for fresh pasta is much shorter than for dried pasta from the supermarket; 2-4 minutes is usually sufficient. Thinner pastas, however, may require an even shorter cooking time. We recommend you check the pasta at regular intervals until the pasta is "al dente".
•
Fresh pasta can be kept for 1-2 days in the fridge and frozen in the freezer for as long as 6 months. To stop the pasta from sticking, you should lay the pasta out to dry for 1-2 hours before you store it in the fridge or freeze it.

How do you make sweet potato dumplings?

Spray a 13x9x2 inch baking dish or pan. Take one can of biscuits and peel each one in half, (you'll have 16 pieces). I have used crescent roll dough, but biscuits are easier. Press biscuit pieces to flatten them and place sweet potato to one side of the biscuit. I use frozen sweet potato patties but, you can use canned sweet potatoes (mash them good) for this recipe. Cut the patties in half or use 1 heaping tablespoon of mashed sweet potato and put the sweet potato to one side of the biscuit. Sprinkle with your spices of choice ( pumpkin pie spice, apple pie spice or even just cinnamon). Bring the one side of the biscuit over the other side and press the edges together to seal it really good. Line your dumplings in two rows in your baking dish, sprinkle with your spices of choice. Now, in a saucepan combine 2 cups of water,2 cups of sugar,1 1/2 sticks of butter (or margarine), 1 tablespoon of corn starch, 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Whisk together and put on a medium-high heat until just boiling-- all the time whisking ( to prevent lumps). Soon as it boils pour it over the dumplings. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. When you pull it form the oven sprinkle with cinnamon and serve. If there is any left-over (HAHA!) It reheats well and is still SO_O_O_O fantastic!

How do you make mint ice cubes? I heard that mint doesnot freeze very well.

You can just put mint leaves into the base of ice cube trays and add water and freeze. Because mint is a very soft herb, some people find that it doesn't freeze so well. Another option is to blend the mint in a processor and freeze it in cubes ready blended. This is good for recipes that call for finely chopped or minced herbs rather than whole leaves.

How to cook hamburgers - temperature, etc.

Hi,

Prepare Patties

1. Put minced scallions and chopped mushrooms in bowl.
2. Add red wine vinegar.
3. Add ground beef to bowl.
4. Mix everything together with your hands.
5. Flatten the beef into four patties that are 1/2-inch thick and 5 inches in diameter.

Cook Patties

1. Set stove-top grill or burner to medium-high.
2. Preheat nonstick frying pan. The pan is the correct temperature when a drop of water dances on its surface rather than sticking to it.
3. Place patties in the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Flip patties and cook for another minute, and then add sliced cheese to the tops of patties if desired.
5. Cover pan and allow burgers to cook for a final 2 minutes. Cook 3 to 4 minutes for well-done burgers.
6. Remove hamburgers from pan and place in hamburger buns.
7. Add condiments and toppings such as ketchup, mustard, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, red onions and pickles.
