Searching for a year now for User Manual for Simplicity Sewing Machine Model 9240. It is over 20 years old BUT it is a great machine. I need to know more about its capabilities. It was my deceased mother's machine and I surely would love to be able to use it to full potential. So far it is a great machine..Much better than my 45 year old New Home..

we need make , model and year of what ever equipment you have
AS you have all that before you, go google and type in-- workshop manual ( or user manual) for ( make and model ) sewing machine
if one is available it will be a pdf version for download
All sewing machines need regular maintenance and this includes using sewing machine oil (supplied with all Singer machines when new) where indicated by the user manual.
I can't supply you with a link though as it's not clear which model you have. Simplicity and Singer are different brands and you seem to have mistakenly mixed them up.
