optic sensor issue most likely. check alignment, check wire for breaks, check staples shorting out wires. it you hold the wired wall button and the door closes, then it is a sensor issue. you can also just jump the terminals where the wires connect on the opener motor and see if it works normally, if so, again the sensors are the issue.
If the main light is flashing 10 times when the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem. Make sure the small light on each sensor is not flickering ever so slightly. This will cause an intermittent problem like you have. Tweak the sensors just a bit.
If the main light is not flashing 10 times you may just need to increase the 'down force' just a tad. This control is on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go.
If the bar is bending when the door closes all the way you need to adjust the 'down limit' on the side of the motor unit. Turn this control in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover until the door stops as it should. You also may have a door sensor problem. Make sure the sensors are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not blinking.
