How do I set up my play on v8 steering wheel for PlayStation 2

Not the top half. You would have to change the entire assy.

Because the game does not see that your steering wheel is compatable.

go to Logitech.com n download the drivers i have got a G25 wheel n needed to do the same thing for the PC

Go into Grid, go to "Options", find contoller settings, find the setting that suits your particular wheel and set it to that. Should be go to go.

There should be a bolt sticking out of the steering box with 1 or 2 nuts on the bolt. This is a thrust setting which puts load on the steering gear. Most people jack the front wheels off the ground and then back off the nut or nuts. You then turn the bolt to screw further into the steering box until you have 1/2 inch or less of play in the steering wheel. Then tighten the nut or nuts down and recheck to see if setting held.

no matter what you try to do, it will not work... the controllers between the systems are formatted differently, therefore, if you want to use a steering wheel for the ps2, you will need to buy a new on...sorry.

The wheel should be plugged in and powered up before turning on the PS3. While booting the wheel should go through its full range of motion and the horn button light will stop blinking and stay on steady. If the light doesn't stop blinking the wheel failed to calibrate and is probably defective. I had to exchange mine and did end up getting one that worked this time.

It only works if it you plug it in after starting the game

play gran turismo 5 prologue it has 2 player and is compatiable with the G25

my steering wheel wont work on the playstation 2 but on the xoboxx what the **** and i have the playstation cord and gamecube and playstation and all of them work except for the ps2 can someone please help meee?
