1 - When viewing the apps on your iDevice in iTunes, you can check and uncheck apps from the Sync Apps list to add or remove them from your iDevice when you sync next. If there are apps listed that you know you'll never return to, you'll notice that there is no way to delete them from this list.

SOURCE: Error 450 on itunes

The 450 download error seems to be caused by either of two setups.

  1. You are not allowed to download something because parental controls are in place or
  2. You are using a 'user' account and not the 'administrator' account that is needed to download from the Internet.
It is not a firewall issue.

Please do be considerate when leaving positive ratings and feedback today. Thanks to the help of itunes for this solution as well.

How to delete candy crush from my iPad permanently

Touch the app and hold your finger down until all the apps start to jiggle. You will see a circled "x" in the upper left corner. Tap it to delete an app. When done press the Home button.
You cannot delete any pre-installed iOS app.
If there is No 'X' on any apps you have Downloaded... then check in Restrictions... Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps = Off / On
If the app is in iTunes, then you delete the app in iTunes (Select the App and Press Delete on your Keyboard). If you then sync with your iDevice, the app will also be deleted from your iDevice.

When I try download apps to my ipad I put a password in and then nothing happens

Open Settings, tap General, then Usage. Check available storage. If it's less than 500 mb, consider removing stuff. The list at the top of this window identifies the culprits. If Music is big, consider deleting music (in the Music app) from the iPad... it'll remain available on your desktop iTunes (or on iCloud if you use iTunes Match). If you have huge apps that you don't play, get rid of them... (GTA, RealRacing, etc. are gigantic). If you keep videos or video podcasts on your iPad, stop it... just sync the ones you need.

Make iTunes your friend. Plug you iPad into your desktop device (if you're using one) and go through everything to see what you're syncing. Uncheck anything you don't use. You'll get space back.

You can reset your iPod, but if you don't tent to do so. You can resort to Leawo iTransfer to remove the app on iPod screen. Just follow below steps.
1. Run Leawo iTransfer after installing it, and connect iPhone to computer with the USB cable. The software will recognize the iPhone and automatically detect the libraries of the iPhone, and show the libraries in the left sidebar. Choose "Apps" library and then the contents will be shown in the right part of the window.

2. Hold "Ctrl" key and click to choose the files you want to delete, and then right-click the selected apps and choose "Delete" in the option menu. Then the software will start deleting apps on iPhone, and it will finish the deleting process in very short time.

The software will also help you delete the apps in the iTunes library. You also need to connect your iPhone to computer first and then you will find the iTunes library is below the libraries of your iPhone. Choose the "Apps" library and select the apps you want to delete and click "Delete" in the option menu. Then the software will also delete the apps in your iTunes library as well.

I recently updated my ibooks app for the iPhone 3 and now it will not open. Any suggestions?

This is a common bug when Apple upgraded the ibooks.
First, delete the app from your phone. Second, open itunes on your computer without the phone attached third, update all apps fourth, plug in your iphone and sync ibooks
if the above doesn't work then re-download ibooks from itunes
if both above dont work then you need to erase the ibooks app from your phone and itunes and then download the app again.
good luck!

It seems that while installation you selected the option "only for the current user" instead of all users. now you have two options the first one is easy log-in through the user which has itunes on the desktop copy the shortcut and browse to c: documents and settings ,users browse the other users folder open desktop and paste the shortcut in that folder. If this works its easy for you or else you will have to uninstall the app and re-install it while keeping in mind selecting for all users during installation.

I deleted itunes by accident .tried to download it but it won't come thru .it keeps saying that the library was opened with a new download.

Firstly are you sure you deleted the actual application? You may have just deleted a shortcut instead - on a PC, go to C:/Program Files/iTunes/ and see if there's a file in there called 'iTunes.exe'
If there is you can drag and drop it back onto your start menu or desktop to restore the shortcut.
Mac user check in the 'applications' folder or Spotlight iTunes and see what's still on your computer. if you see iTunes.app you're fine, just reveal the app in finder and drag onto the dock.
If the program is NOT there...

CD/dvd drivers missing or malfunctioning

Sounds like you have and Upper and Lower Filter issue in the registry.

Listed below is the link for the MS document on how to fix this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929461

IMPORTANT
I suspect you did not complete all the steps in the document. In the document you need to delete the upper and lower filters in the registry and DELETE the burning software you added, shut down and then reinstall the software. This is often difficult for users since they have no idea what app is causing the problem.

With iTunes, make sure you are using the latest version. Older versions caused this upper and lower filter issue among other burning apps.

In some extreme cases you must uninstall and reinstall ALL burning software on your PC. This is easy on an HP. Delete the SW from Programs and then use Recovery Manager C:\PC Help and Tools\ etc..,. to run Application Recovery. You can only install one app at a time. Shut down between each install and check if your drives show up in Device Manager and burn.

Following the process above (installing one app at a time) will allow you to find out which app you added is causing the problem.

All the HP apps on the PC work fine as the PC is tested for issues like this. Something was added that over-wrote the Upper and Lower filters, essentially corrupting them so your ODDs don't work or don't even show up in Device Manager.

Good luck
