I need the front panel connections location, which ones go where for the ga-73pvm-s2h motherboard

Gigabyte has the manual for the GA-73PVM-S2H on the product support site: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2691#manual . The full manual is near the bottom of the list. The direct link to the English version of the manual is http://download1.gigabyte.us/Files/Manual/motherboard_manual_ga-73pvm-s2h_e.pdf . The Motherboard Installation Guide at the top of the list is a generic manual for all motherboards.

The front panel connections are shown on page 28 of the manual. There are two lines of pins. From left to right, the inside line of pins are the Power LED +, Power LED -, Power Switch +, Power Switch -, then the Case Speaker +, Case Speaker -. (The speaker - is next to a Case Fan connector; so there are a couple of blank spots between the speaker + and - pins.) On the line of pins at the edge of the board, again from left to right: HD LED +, HD LED -, Reset Switch -, Reset Switch + . There is no contact on the last pin in this group.

I hope this helps.

and enter the motherboard number GA-7VAX
and you can download the manual which shows what the pins are.

Front Panel to Board. Color Matching of Wires where there are no Marked Connectors from the Front Panel ?

You can download the manual for your motherboard from Gigabyte here. This will show you the pinout for the front panel connector. If there are no marked connectors on the wires from the front panel, you'll need to remove the panel and follow the wires back to the switches and LEDs. It's usually not difficult to do this as the panel is normally held on with a few screws or simply snaps onto the case.

Good luck! Hope this has helped you, and thanks for using Fixya!

GA-8S650GXM FOR USB FRONT AUDIO PANEL

You will need the motherboards manual to help you with connecting USB_1, USB_2 and F_PANEL audio to you're case. If you do not have you're manual for the GA-8S650GXM you can download it from Gigabyte; http://america.giga-byte.com/FileList/Manual/motherboard_manual_8s650gxm_series_e.pdf
You will also need Adobe reader installed to view the manual.
Gigabyte GA-8S650GXM main web site; http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ProductID=1658
Turn to page 18. Number 17, F_USB1/F_USB2. Use the link provided below to help you connect you're front case USB wires to the motherboard; http://www.directron.com/installusb.html
Turn to page 24, for front audio connections. Keep in mind once you configure you're audio to function from you're cases front audio port you will not be able to use the rear audio port. Caution, most people find bumping any front case USB or audio cords break far too easely. To avoid breaking the front audio port, consider using a Y splitter for the rear audio port as shown in the next link; http://shopping.yahoo.com/p:StarTech.com%20MUY1MFF%20Audio%20Video%20Cable:1991733360;_ylt=Ah94ikZN9zDbTi2.arc45BkbFt0A

Hope you find this helpful.

I need the front panel pin layout for a Gigabyte 8S648FX-RZ motherboard. (that is the power switch, reset switch, LED etc.)

Open the link for your Gigabyte MB 8S648FX-l;
http://america.giga-byte.com/FileList/Manual/motherboard_manual_8s648fx_rz(c)_c.pdf
This is your manual. Go to page 15. You can enlarge the image if needed.
You will need Adobe Reader to view the manual. If you need Adobe it is a free download;
http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
To view the main link for the Gigabyte 8S648FX-RZ click below;
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=1775
Case front panel wire colors can be confusing. Most cases use colored wires as their +positive. White is commonly used as the -ground wire. Except when connecting an internal speaker. Black colored wire is ground.

Cheers!
Mike
