Best thing to do is take the bracket with you to a Hardware store and they"ll assist you.

Using Ceiling & Floor Brackets, along with a 2' x 4' timber beam, will let you mount the Dyson cordless easily and without damage to the wall. (For tenants this is great)

The brackets are secured to the floor and ceiling, not the wall, so there is no damage or no holes in the wall - great for rentals.

The docking station is secured/screwed into the 2' x 4' timber beam.

It's easy to install and repositioned.

It can be removed easily without damage.

Yes. The plug clips into the wall bracket and if you remove it you can use the charger just like any other. Alternatively just rest the V8 in the wall mounting bracket on the floor. I had no wall space either. I screwed my V8 to the back of the airing cupboard door.

The bin base on Dyson cordless vacuums is a push-fit part. The two taps on the hinge attached to the base fit into the two corresponding indents on the main section of the clear bin.

You might be able to find some online. I would also try some local stores for a replacement part. You might not get exact, but you could probably get close if you bring one of the top brackets with you.

Hi There, I put up a new video just recently showing how to fit the bag holder on a miele vacuum. Have a look it should be helpful.

Check to see that the bag mounting bracket and torsion spring are in place, the bracket will be either a dark graphite color like most of the vacuum or green. If you only have a protruding tube where you put the bag on, then your bag mount have come off and you should order a new one; very inexpensive and it comes with a new spring.

You should be able to remove it by lifting straight up. It may take a little manipulating if it's stuck, but it and the bracket are sturdy enough to withstand it.

There is a hinged bracket for this unit which has a 5" bolt through it. It comes from CanaVac who manufactures under label. If you cannot find this large U shaped bracket on the body or in the bucket, either return to COSTO or call Canavac and explain. A used bracket from an old Canavac will fit, nothing else will. If Costco is sold out you will not likely get one through a Hoover service center since they just don't break and it is a newer body style for Hoover made under private label.. A Canavac dealer might have one around
FYI if you got this unit at $200 off you got good value, if you paid full price and need to wait for a bracket, shop around for a different brand. While the unit and tools are good , the Hoover power head is the Achilles heal on this package. If you use it more than an hour a week , you will wear it out within 3-5 years as it is their light duty head.
If you have the bracket , hang the unit on a double stud if possible or 3/4 plywood braced across two studs. Leave 24-36 inches slack in your low voltage wire at the motor and coil around a pencil or long philips screwdriver, making it phone cord style... your wife and neighbors will think you are a pro......

Starting withh the brushroll,slip belt over brushroll.The brushroll will only go on one way.The caps on the ends of the brushroll are different sizes so it will only go on one way.Make sure the adjustment screws face outward toward the floor.Install the brush roll into the bracket.Install the bracket onto brushead,making sure the tabs on the bracket fit onto the tabs in the brushead.Turn brushead around,and latch the two latches on either side.Then turn the belt lifter to pick up the belt,looking thru the back opening.Raise the Kirby to it's highest setting.Re-install the brushead,and lock it down tight,but not too tight.Then,turn the belt lifter knob all the way clockwise to drop the belt onto shaft.
