How to adjust volume on a sandisk mp3 player - SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player

the ring on below the screen is the volume controller and also work as scroll up down.

While the song is playing, just spin the blue wheel (the thumbwheel)

While playing, you can adjust the volume by "turning" the command wheel. Turn it clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease.

To turn it off, slide the power switch (the same switch you use to turn it on) up (toward the display) and hold it for two seconds.

Spin the scroll wheel while music is playing.

I finally found a complete user manual and found out where everything is on the player so that I know how to regulate the volume. Thank you very much for your attention.

check the sound settings or equlizer

Sounds like a hardware issue requiring the player to be replaced, but download the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk's website just to be sure

Not Mac compatible largely.

ALL Mp3 players have a disclaimer telling you not to play it at max volume. Get adjustable headphones to resolve problem
