Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

In Boost mode, DC59 offers 100 airwatts of suction to tackle really stubborn dirt or clinging pet hair. To activate Boost mode, just hold down the on/off trigger so the vacuum is running, then press and release the Boost button on the rear of the vacuum. To change back to regular power, you would follow the same procedure - holding down the trigger and pressing the Boost button a second time.

Sebo Felix pet vacuum. It powers up okay but only running at slow speed, not boosting when you turn up the power. I took off the switch and it seems okay to me.

The units with two speeds have a speed controller on the motor. I reckon you will need dealer service. Try and claim on the warranty.

There is some fault finding in this video.

You are the only one with this issue.

My new dyson digital slim only runs for 9 minutes and says on the box to run for 15 minutes. Can I return it

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

Good news - you shouldn't need to return your machine! Dyson Digital Slim cordless vacuums have two power levels - high suction power mode for regular vacuuming, and Boost mode, which provides 6 minutes of highest suction power for tackling tougher tasks.

It sounds like you're using your machine set to Boost mode, which will reduce runtime to around 6 minutes. To change back to normal power, hold down the on/off trigger so the vacuum is running. Then at the same time, press and release the round illuminated Boost button on the rear of the machine.

I'm confident this will resolve things - if not, Dyson experts are on hand to help. You can reach the Dyson Customer Helpline for further assistance by calling 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

How do I change from MAX to normal on my Dyson59 vacuum cleaner.

Hi Betty, it's Jack at Dyson.

To change your DC59's power level from Max to normal, just hold down the on/off trigger so the vacuum is running, then at the same time press and release the Boost button on the rear of the machine. When Max mode is activated, the Boost button will light up - when normal mode is activated, the Button will not light up.

Why does My Dyson DC35 will not work on high?

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

DC35 should work on both regular power (15 minutes runtime, or 13 minutes with the motorised head attached), and Boost mode (6 minutes runtime). If your machine won't work at all on Boost mode, we'd appreciate the opportunity to take you though some quick diagnostic checks when your machine is fully charged and near to hand. If a replacement part is needed, we can also confirm if this is covered under our 2-year guarantee.

Our westpoint home electric blanket, model 950, flashes 8 on one unit & can't be turned off. ELECTRIC BLANKET!!

Try pressing the power button and boost button at the same time. Then a C will flash and the setting you had it on before will show up. I think that was caused by pressing the boost button.

E2 gold series - makes loud noise on start up

That is normal. All E2 two speed Rainbows make that sound. It is because it has a brushless motor that the computer is controling, and the computer is controling everything. The motor rotor has no coils on it on the rotor, which is very small and light, and the computer gives it a small power boost when you first turn on, then increases the power until ir reaches full speed.

If you have any more questions let me know. I am a Rainbow seller, and a Rainbow expert also.

Thank you,
Ralph
