Blue means that your system is not charging, when it is charging it should be pink/purple. when the battery is full it will turn blue. If the blue/pink light stay on it may mean that your battery is no longer charging completely. If it is still under warranty, get a replacement battery for free... otherwise it may be time to invest in a new battery.
You should firstly test the projector using some alternative input sources, and using different cables to establish that the pink/purple tinge is consistent across all inputs.
If it is, then your projector is in need of professional repair. You should be able to contact 3m here who can advise who their local repair agent is.
OK did you ever try to hack your system did you open the inside of it did you drop or smash it or leave it in extreme temps if not it might be the result of poor cable connection, first turn off
your Xbox 360 and check out the cables that are connected to the
system. Remove them and re-connect them firmly. Now switch on your Xbox
360 again. There is a good possibility that you will find the fuzzy
purple screen gone. If you still find a fuzzy purple screen then this
might be a bit more complicated problem that your system is
experiencing. Usually system overheating is one of the major reasons
that cause various Xbox 360 errors
Sounds like a CCD image sensor problem, not a do-it-yourself repair, but this would also definitely fall under warranty repair. The IXUS 970IS is a relatively new camera, and thus your camera should likely still be under warranty. Recommend that you contact Canon directly to arrange warranty repair. If in US or Canada, call 1-800-OK-CANON. All others, www.canon.com, select "Support" and then your Region for further info in your local area.
I have the same issue, Although My camera is a samsung N46, It was working perfectly the night before, then my friend switched it on and it came up with a black backround and pink + purple vertical lines going through it.
