If you have a wireless keypad you need to do just what you are doing except after pressing the last number you need to press enter. If your keypad is hard wired post back because the instructions are not the same.

I have a Sears Chamberlain garage door opener pad outside my garage. The 9V battery died and I have replaced the battery. How do I reprogram the pad?

You shouldn't need to reprogram the pad; it functions as before simply sending a signal to the opener that has the programing saved in it.

We can only get one remote to work when we reprogram the next one the first one stops working. the key pad is doing the same thing

You are probably not reprogramming the remote or keypad, but are using the remote to reprogram the receiver. But I can't get the instructions from the Chamberlain site without a model number. Here is their site:

Craftsman garage door remote control 139.18791B Not working i replace the battery and stil dont work can you halp?

you may have to reprogram the remote. it's easy push the square red or blue button on the door opener and within 30 sec push the 4digit number on your remote and push enter. the light should blink twice to tell you it took the new connection.

I want to re-program my keyless garage door.

Mulleta,

If you look on the back or side of the garage door opener you will see a small square red/orange button.
Push the button one time, and you will see an amber LED come on. Go to your keypad enter a four digit (of your choice) then press and hold the the enter button until the garage door opener light flashes and you hear a clicking sound. You can release the enter button and it will be reprogramed.
