My Swatch Irony watch has recently been running slow. I thought it might be a low battery, but after a replacement, it still loses time a few minutes each day. I got the replaced battery alos checked and its fully charged. Any ideas?

remove the movement and press the glass out from the back. Not a job if you do not have the right tools. Suggest you send to a watch maker.

Assuming the mechanics work ok (thay all do 360 degree turns) it's just a calibration issue: download from SWATCH support a PDf which describes how to zero the watch hands, it's simple as taking the crown out to 3rd step, the pushing the buttons repectively till they point 12 direction. Exact details in the PDF.

You are not in luck - Irony watches are not made to be serviceable and therefor you will have to send it back to Swatch or one of their dealers - hopefully it is under warranty.

Has it been around water? Dropped? Could need cleaning. mcdevito75 here, I am thinking your watch ran fine before the battery change. It sounds like the new battery is not makeing good enough contact, you can try, removeing the battery and cleaning the contacts in the watch carefully with a Q tip, dip the Q tip in anything containing alcohol cologne, rubbing alcohol, perfume wet the Q tip good, then sqeeze most out of the Q tip as not too saturate the battery contacts, also clean the battery itself, the oil on your fingers could give it a poor contact on the watch. The stop watch section doesn"t take as much battery power as the second hand. You may also be able to jump start your watch also, You"ll need a needle and a magnifier glass, With the back off your watch, right in the middle of the movement, just below where the stem (winder) goes, you"ll just see part of a little gear, this is the hour hand gear, see if you can gently move that gear just a fraction, place the needle between the teeth of the gear and try to move it as gentle as possible then se if the gear will move on it"s own., be very carefull with the movement. Swatch watches are collectables. If you don"t feel comfortable doing the above, look for a small watch repair shop in your area for help.

mcdevito75 here, Once any Quatrz mechanism goes, it"s ususlly gone. New replacement Quartz mechanisms are sold but just the mechanism itself could cost $30.00---$70.00 then the labor to have it installed, A Swatch watch is a COLLECTABLE item, it may be worth the expense of a new Quartz Mechanism, spaek with the watch shop about details.

This is an analog watch.

Pull the set stem to the set position and advance 12 hours.

Could be Following Reason

1, Watch movement required overhaul
2, Circuit or coil warn out
3, Battery connection are not on right place
4, Test new battery to check its strength

If watch has only battery cover on the back and does not has backcase
like most of swatch watches are then watch can not be overhaul.
