I don't know the solution to this either. Both my Whirlpool, front load washers: old one (15years old) and new one (2 months), the softner itself is always drained into the wash and residual water is there at the end of each wash.
I have the same problem with mine. I found that some fabric softners worked better than others. I found Downy the worst, when i switched the problem seems to stop once i cleaned out the drawer
clean filters in washer inlets on back of washer. take off hoses and look up inside of inlet, pull out the filters by pulling stright out on them. then fush backwards to get sand or whatever out of fiter
I've had that same code, the machine completely stops and you have to start over with the load, the repair man samsung sent out still cannot fix my problem. he says there is a defect on these machines, good luck!
