Note that you typically only do a hard reset/ wipe data if you are having issues - this being the last resort, or you are selling your device. If you intend to keep the device, make sure you perform a back up first!

How to unlock an Xperia z1 when password has been forgotten?

You have to hard reset your Xperia Z1. NOTE: Backup your files because a hard reset will erase ALL your data and settings (copy them to your PC or somewhere else). You will have to set up your phone from the beginning.

1. Open the SIM card slot.
2. There you'll se a little red button. Press it with a toothpick or something thin and hold it for 3-5 seconds.

If this doesn't work, try this:
NOTE: Before doing this, your battery must be half or more full (as in previous method).
1. Turn off your phone.
2. Reboot phone by pressing the power button and volume up botton together.
3. Using volume keys, navigate to Wipe Data/Factory Reset and confirm it with the power button.
4. Wait for the process to finish. You'll have to set the phone up from the beginning.

How to Blocked my Xperia Z1

Unless you had it signed up or installed an app, you cant. You can have your service provider cut service to the phone, and that is about it. Is your GPS on?

Same Problem! Sony Z1 turns off and back on as it wishes and it is not recognized by my comp. I've tried other computers, cables, everything but no luck! Is there any think I should try before heading to...

Hello, I'm afraid your iLink IC is the problem. Unfortunately it is a BGA device and resides on the very expensive VC367 board. Sometimes the IC can be replaced albeit with very specialised IC removal equipment or the board needs replacing. This is also specialised in that all the Z1 data is stored on this board requiring the data to be, first, downloaded to a PC and then uploaded once the new board is fitted. The camera then needs aligning.
