You can also the download the driver from that site if you lost the driver CD. Please note that this printer will only work to Windows 2000, XP and Vista 32 bit OS. Hope this helps.
I had this same problem. I solved it by cleaning the bay where the cartridges go with some 100% Isopropyl Alcohol. Then i just replaced the cartridges with new ones and it worked fine!
this is a common problem
run the clean cartridge utility at least 5 times in a row, and view the test page after every cleaning, there should be an improvement, sometimes it takes more than 5 tries
this should un-clog the nozzles.
Do check the option and make sure that you have not inadvertently set it to black only- This could be computer wise or on the A940 panel.
If you are sure all is well here
Remove the scanner software and reinstall.
