I have a Kenmore elite HE3T front load. It gets down to 6 min then stops and flashes between 06 and F, what can i do?

I think its the final spin cycle that doesn't work. It does everything else fine. Sometimes if we cancel it and restart it it works.

The F/06 is:
Drive Motor Tachometer Error
The control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes.

Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU)
Check the Drive Motor
Check the MCU
Check the Wire Harness

Chances are the Drive Motor is at fault and may need to be replaced

Have a Kenmore Elite HE3T washer. Put appropriate detergent, fabric softener in, selected NORMAL cycle, spin speed, etc. Just sits there. Pressed START button several times. Nothing. Little cycle lights...

I own a 18-year-old Kenmore front-load washer so I'm not sure this will apply, but here goes... My washer requires me to press and HOLD the start button for a few seconds before it will start. At that point the door will lock and the washer goes through its startup phase. I think that is a "safety feature' to keep from accidentally bumping the button and starting the washer. See if that help. Good luck!

My Kenmore elite he3t is giving me a problem in the spin cycle. Even thought the spin setting is set on high or extra high, the drum turns very slowly and will eventually stop and the washer starts...

The machine will not advance to the high-speed spin cycle unless the water is drained first. The F02 error code manifests this condition as it means draining problem. Either the pump filter is blocked, the drain hose is clogged/kinked, the pressure switch is stuck in the full position, or the pump itself is not working. The display can be cleared by pressing the Pause/Cancel button twice.

Disconnect power and remove the three screws attaching the lower front access panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You can prop up the bottom front edge of the washer or cushion and lean it against the wall to access and remove the screws more easily.

Once the panel is off, remove the filter by turning the knob counterclockwise. Clean the filter from any debris that prevents water from draining out properly. Click on the link below for further troubleshooting should the cleaning of the filter does not resolve the problem.

Kenmore Elite HE3t 11042922200 Front Loading. F02 drain Problem

We experienced the same thing. I was able to restart and locate the noise to the water pump. After disassembling the water pump found the impeller shaft sliding out. For some reason this shaft will not stay in place. Had to order a complete pump assembly as the electric motor is not available.

Kenmore elite flashes f1 code and stops

If I remember correctly? It is stopping after the wash cycle and won't spin? If this is correct you need a new pump. I found out that front load washers have a filter that is behind that front cover and it needs to be cleaned every 6 months or more often if you have lots of strange items that show up in the wash like coins or toys or if you have lots of furry pets. Mine did that with out the code and I replaced the pump and check the drain every 6 months or so. I was told a good indicator that the drain filter is getting clogged is when your washer has an odor. Just a rule of thumb.

What causes the HE3t washer to stop in spin and rinse cycle?

Sometimes the unplugging helps, or hitting "Cancel" several times.  Guaranteed to work though is to remove top, reach down the top to the door lock.  (Tight squeeze and need to be a little tall to reach) Once your hand is down there, on bottom of lock mechanism is a small handle that must be pulled straight down and manually unlock the door.  This can also be accomplished by removing lower front panel and reaching up to do the same.   BTW, while in the top, make sure all the electrical connections are tight.  I found some loose before, probably from the spinning action.

Kenmore elite washer problem

sounds as if you have a drain issue, most common cause of fault is theres something stuck in the pump housing. remove the lower acess panel(3 screws along the bottom of the forn of unit) youll gain acess to the pump housing, remove the large cover to the "button trap" by uncscrewimg the cover, it will be righthin front of you in the center of machine when cover removed, im sure youll find your blockage within there
