in the upper left hand corner, there is an arrow pointing to the left... that would be your "Back" button. Click that arrow and it should take you to the previous menu. I have highlighted the arrow with a red square... that will not appear on your screen.
Hi Marion
You might try going to the upper right corner and to the left of
the X click on the two squares to minimize the screen and see if
that does the trick.

Tap the white-on-blue up-arrow near the lower-left corer of the screen, then drag the unwanted icons to the icon bar at the bottom of the screen. When done, tap the white-on-blue down-arrow at the upper-left corner.
Bear in mind that not all icons can be removed from the home screen.
When you go into the split screen, and you don't want to be there, just click the little arrow in the lower right hand corner (the arrow pointing down and to the right). This will reduce the bottom map portion into a small overview box in the lower right portion of the screen. It only takes a second to get out of the split screen that way. To get back into split screen, click the arrow in the upper left corner of the overview box (the arrow pointing up and to the right).
My Nordic Track Treadmill A2250 is stuck on the 12% incline position and it wont go back down and I have tried to reset it by turning it off, switching the reset button to off and then on or even unplugging it several times. What would be my next move?
the screen needs to be re-calibrated. Do this: while powering on the Leapster, hold down the ? key. If it's been worn off, it's the round key on the left hand side above the t-arrow keys and it's the middle button. A new screen will come up that lists Base Info Cart 1 Info, Cart 2 Info, Cart 3 Info. In the right hand corner is a "A" that you can touch with pen beside it, it says "Touch Calib" Touch on that.It will say starting...then in the upper left hand corner there is a +. touch it with pen. it will move to bottom left hand corner. Touch it with pen. It will move to right bottom corner. touch with pen. It will move to upper right hand corner. Touch with pen. It will move to the center of the screen. Touch with pen. Repeat until you come back to the Base Info screen. You're DONE! Power off and on again and you should be all set! Good luck!!
Is there a button near the trackpad that might be lit up in red or another color? On some laptops, there is an option to turn off the trackpad by pushing a button. Commonly, its right above it. An example is in this picture in the upper right corner:

If there is no button, try connecting a USB mouse and see if you can make it work that way. If so, you may have a hardware or driver issue. You can download drivers from the manufactures site.
Open up the piano roll window for the sample you have selected. Use the highlight tool, which looks of a dashed square, to select the entire pattern by dragging your cursor from the top right corner of the piano roll diagonally to the left bottom corner of the piano roll. If you can't see all of the bars used, then try sizing the track in the piano roll closer together by placing your cursor on the square directly to the right of the horizontol scroll bar. Hold down the left click and move your mouse down to track the piano roll closer or move the mouse upwards to span it more. Select all of the bars used in the piano roll and click the down arrow in the very upright corner. Select Edit > Copy. This will copy all of the bars in the current piano roll. To paste the pattern simply click the down arrow again in the upright corner and select Edit > Paste in any piano roll.
