I have a dell desktop, motherboard e210882. What could cause my pc to turn on and stay on the intel screen and goto further when it was running fine just before the restart? I moved to jumper so I could go into shut up but it wouldn't even let me do that.

You may have a virus or an update that didn't install

You did not say which OS you are using so here is the answer using Windows 7

Remove any DVDs or USB storage devices from your computer, then restart the computer.
When you start the machine, continually keep tapping the "F8" key until the logo disappears. The Advanced Boot Options screen appears.
Press the down arrow until you have highlighted the "Safe Mode" item. Press the "Enter" key to boot Windows into safe mode.
Open Search box. In the search box, type System Restore, and then, in the list of results, click System Restore.
Follow the steps in the wizard to choose a restore point and restore your computer.

SOURCE: Good Afternoon Sir.!!

Intel has an auto detect and download drivers tool here: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/ which you could try.

If that doesn't work you can also follow the intructions here http://devid.info/en/page/device/

It should hopefully give you a driver for your device.

Thanks

I lost my lan driver

The Dell E210882 motherboard has been used in the Dell Dimension 3000. Thus you can try the Dell site for the XP driver. Start here: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/Product/dimension-3000 and expand the section for network drivers.

If you have a different OS, try the Intel site since the onboard LAN is the Intel Pro/100 VE hardware. The Intel generic drivers are here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Network+Connectivity&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Adapters&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+PRO%2f100+VE+Desktop+Adapter . Use the drop-down menus to select your OS and drivers if you want to shrink the list below (left-hand side).

If the on-board LAN has failed (it happens), get a PCI ethernet card. Then disable the on-board LAN in the BIOS. Usually that can be accessed by pressing Esc, F1, F2 or F10 on startup. There should be a splash screen telling you which key to press. If you get to the Windows login or Start Screen try again.

I hope this helps.

Need pinout for front pannel connector J60H1

The E210882 number is a certification mark for some Intel motherboards. But that is not the number of the board. Try to find a number that begins with and "E" or a "D" then three numbers and then 3 or 4 more letters and numbers combined.
