check all power connections inside, one may be loose

You or someone may have hit the F7 function key. This turns on and off the screen/monitor. Press the key once, and see if it comes on. If after pressing the key once, it still does not come on, then try rebooting the PC and see what happens.

Try attaching an external monitor to the laptop & see if you could get any display on it. If this is successful, then you might have either a faulty LCD cable or screen inverter board.
The LCD cable transfers data signal from the motherboard & video card to the LCD screen. It also supplies high voltage DC power to the screen inverter board. The screen inverter board works as a power supply for the backlight lamp mounted inside the LCD screen. It converts low voltage DC power to high voltage AC power needed for the backlight lamp.

raeda70, No, No, No, This is not the way it works at fixya!! Start off by telling me when you got the monitor and how old or new it is. Then tell me how it was working yesterday or the day before. Tell me if monitor is still covered under the manufacturers warranty. Monitor must be working now!! How else did you get to do this post on fixya? Did you do the flashlight test that every "cold-cathode-fluorescent lamp" back-lit lcd monitor owner should do when their lcd panel goes black or fails to turn-on? Did monitor ever display (show) the Win-desktop screen? If monitor worked before, and it 's not working now, then it's probably got an internal problem with it's "switch-mode-power-supply/CCFL inverter supply and will need you or an electronics technician to troubleshoot and repair it. Read my fixya profile and those of other lcd monitor tech's here on fixya to see if DIY fix is something you want to do. Your power supply has burnt out which unfortunately is extremely common in new devices. I do agree that it may be worth fixing if it is only couple years old.

AS PER YOUR PROBLEM I THINK YOUR COMPUTER WORKING WITHOUT ELECTRIC EARTHING. PL FIRST COMPLETE EARTHING WITH ELECTRICIAN.

YOUR EARTHING IS NOT PROPERLY PL CHECK THAT:-- ELECTRIC SHOK ON PC BODY.

YOUR PROBLEM WITH POWER SUPPLY OR PROCESSOR,MOTHERBOARD.

PL FIRST CHECK POWER SUPPLY,SECOND CHECK YOUR PROCESSOR WITH ANOTHER PC MOTHERBOARD.

1. Mostly Loose contacts in video section that means CRT Neck board dry points checke it.
2.Pl check VGA Cable RGB signal pins 123 to ground 75 Ohms (on OK condition).
3.check 5v supply
4.check SDL and SCL signals.

Most monitors will say "Power save mode" when they can tell through residual voltage that the signal lead is plugged into a machine, but there's no picture being transmitted. The four states of a monitor are:

* Off entirely.
* Switched on, plugged into a computer but no video signal being received - usually displays "analog power save mode" or "digital power save mode" for a few seconds, then blanks. Comes back to life the moment a video signal is received. This state is the default in full power saving mode.
* Switched on, not plugged into a computer. Some monitors don't display anything, some go into power saving mode, some fly "CHECK SIGNAL CABLE" or a similar message around the screen. Picture is restored when the signal cable is plugged back into the computer
* On fully, receiving an image, and displaying.
