Hello Jerry;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

You need to provide a model number for me to give you the gasket part number and price. The model number is on a label in your fresh food section on the upper side wall.

You have a bottom freezer, Right? These bottom freezer drawers are had to seal all of the time. They can get off track and not seal properly. It is not uncommon for them to ice up around the door gasket.

Lets try this first:

1.) Clean the gasket.

2.) With a hair dryer and a kitchen spatula, Heat the gasket while pulling gentle out on the gasket, to expand the gasket.

3.) Run a piece of paper between the gasket and the freezer front. If you can do this, then you still do not have a solid seal.

Where can I buy a seal for my Woods upright freezer Model WV20-ZF1/E

Woods are no longer in business and all parts are obsolete.

https://www.google.com/search?q=Woods+upright+freezer+WV20-ZF1%2FE+door+gasket

So, you can either buy a door gasket by the size of the one you have, or you can make one by buying a length or door gasket material and cutting 90' notches in the 4 corners and filling / gluing the corners with white silicone.

Or if the gasket is just split, you can clean thoroughly and repair with silicone. Fill the void, close the door, and clean up excess.

And then after typing all the above, I searched for the Part Number and there is one here!

I'm in search of a door seal for a Westinghouse FU130LRW1 upright freezer please?

Question edited for clarity.

It is properly called a door 'gasket'. I looked at two sites and the part is discontinued, but there are other outlets you can try. If you can't find one, you can buy gasket material and make your own. Make 45' miters and seal the corners with white silicone.

29313 Freezer needs a gasket replaced and possibly a thermostat...never shuts off..

Try sealing the door with tape to see if the thermostat will work to turn it off.
My Kenmore upright freezer had a separate cross seal down quite low, on the freezer not the door. I reversed the door seal so the damaged top part was below the cross seal and voila, no more leak.
If it needs a thermostat I suggest getting it sealed first. Mine was only 10 or so years old but Sears Parts said seal no longer available. Good luck

I need to replace a worn Carrier upright food freezer door gasket

Are you looking for door seals? If so, there are several places that can custom make them. Try calling Restaurant Parts and More at 1-888-814-1110 and talk to Rick. He can send you a cataloge with the different types of gasket materials available. He knows what questions to ask to help get the right one.
