I have had my globe for over 10 years and the text is starting to read wrong. Is there anything I can do about this or is it time to get a new one?

Check the quality off the globe ,,2 check if the globe is getting an moisture and stop that , 3 Check your charging rate 13,44 --- 14.08 4 check is all connections to globes is secure i.e all switches all relays all plugs

After years of use these wear out just like anything else, if the camera is 10 years old it is going to cost you more to have it repaired than it will cost to replace it. 10 years is a long time, and the price for repairs will be sky high.

Is the globe blowing from overcharging ,vibration,excessive heat or poor quality globes.Take the globe to a auto electrician and they may be able to identify cause.The globe is easy to fit in upside down and if not seated properly can overheat.Alternators are starting to fail on these vehicles also,no aftermarket parts or alternators are available as of yet.Around $1400 for one from Honda.The most likely cause is poor quality globes or loose in globe holder.Fit brands such as Phillips or Tungsram.

AT 10 years old, anything is likely to fail, bearing in mind that every moving part has had 10 years use.
I personally would purchase a new appliance, for one thing , you are starting off with a guarantee on the whole appliance, as the only guarantee on repairing your other one , would be on the motor.
Get that replaced, and next week, something else could go wrong.
