SOURCE: cz 446 comfort zone ceramic heater shuts off

Hi, the problem you are having is the thermostat control, and dimming the lights is a indication of the neutral side of the control if faulty. It is drawing enough amps to make you're home lights blink, so I would stop using it now and if you are inclined to replace this control yourself I would. If this is something you would not care to take on, I would get an estimate for repair at a appliance repair store, compared to replacing the unit with a different one.I am sorry to tell you this, but it will only get worse and what I have recommend is for you're safety.
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7
PS Please keep me informed of the situation, as I would love to be of any help you may need.

I have just had a Comfort Zone CZ230ER heater installed in my garage. The room temp sensor is reading in reverse, Goes up as the room cools and goes down as the room warms.

That would be a warranty issue, but wonder if you are reading set temperature, ambient temperature or 'set back' temperature? Contact the maker.

Locating replacement quartz bulbs for comfort zone heater

To locate replacement quartz bulbs for your Comfort Zone heater, you can try the following steps:
  1. Check the manual: Your Comfort Zone heater should have come with a manual that includes information on replacement parts, including the type of bulbs needed. Check the manual to see if it specifies the type of quartz bulbs that are compatible with your heater.
  2. Check the label: Look for a label or sticker on the heater that lists the make and model number. This information can help you find the correct replacement bulbs.
  3. Contact the manufacturer: Comfort Zone is the manufacturer of the heater, so you can try contacting their customer service department to ask for assistance in finding replacement bulbs. They may be able to provide you with the specific bulbs you need, or they may direct you to an authorized dealer or retailer.
  4. Search online: You can also search online for replacement quartz bulbs that are compatible with your Comfort Zone heater. Try searching for the make and model number of your heater, along with the keywords "quartz bulbs" or "replacement bulbs."
It's important to note that if the halogen lamp is also not coming on, there may be an issue with the heater's electrical system. In this case, it may be best to contact a professional electrician or appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the issue.

I turn the heater....it displays A04..and then it shuts off.

Comfort Zone heaters do not have a display board, they only had thermostat knobs.

Is it possible that you have a different model of heater?
