The SSID is the network name. If you're using your phone as a hotspot it will be on the tethering options, on the settings menu. If you're not tethering from your phone look on your WiFi router/modem. SSID = Network Name

We changed our wireless router to a netgear n600 and now my samsung galaxy GT-p3113 wont connect to internet

You have to re-connect wifi network within the phone. Go to system settings -> wifi -> choose your new SSID and type in passphrase.

How do I find my SSID for my wifi on my mobile phone

Settings >> Wireless & Networks >> More >> Tethering & Portable hotspot (I am assuming you were able to reach here to get your hotspot started)

Here, "set up Wi-Fi hotspot" and check under Network SSID. This would be your SSID.

The SSID is the Name given to the Wireless-Connection you want to join. Browse your Router-Configuration for these information.

Samsung Galaxy Core I8260

Login in using your browser and go to the wireless settings and set-up a wireless password/key. Remember the key because each device will now need it to connect. You can also turn OFF Broadcast SSID and your network name will not be shown on anyone's device. You must remember the network name when using this method.

Then make certain all your devices login to the wireless network with the SSID and Key.

My wifi on my phone is playing up it turn it on and then in about 30 seconds it goes back of then i turn it back on and it says it is scanning then it says unable to scan networks and then the wifi went...

sometimes we have to manually set the wifi (SSID) you just ask the name of the SSID you want to connect and password are required (if the SSID requires a password). and your wifi will work again.

may be useful.
