I am on vacation in irelandand I can't get into my email account. I have tried to follow all of the instructions for over 2 weeks and nothing works. I don't have a mobile phone , and I am not home to get a...

When you forgot your account name from a Gmail, hotmail or Yahoo account you never can login to you account. When you have a mail account from your phone or internet provider, with a POP3 and STMP server and you even don't know the server names, you can't login.
When you have the correct account name and password, just goto the login site from the mail provider in the browser. Fill in account name and password and click login. That should do the trick.
For the POP3 and STMP server mail, you first should setup the server settings for both POP3 and STMP in a mail program like Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird

Unabele to acsses my email on my yahoo home page

This can be a temporary issue caused by the failure of the server or ..something in the browser settings block the page ..or you didn't type the password correctly ..(watch caps lock ..and other issues like that )..
If it is a case of the server try a different browser just to be sure..and leave it be ..cause it will be available as soon as they solve the problem ...Also can be a case of non usage for a long time and the account being suspended ..or just in error ..in any of these...cases..if you can load the page for the yahoo mail ...but just can not succeed in logging in ..try to click on log issue ...just under the log in line...and either change the password..(send request for lost password or ..declare yourself unable to use it ..) they will ask you for the secondary mail if you have such a thing ..and send you a link in the mail on this secondary mail ..This will let you change the password and also enable it ..and will work ...If you do not have such a secondary email attached to the account ..you have to answer a few questions ..and they need to be exactly like the ones you complete when you made the account ..and they will let you change it ..
This changing of the password will make the account usable no matter what the issue is ..The only thing that may block you is a server failure ..or if you tried the wrong password for more than a few times..and now the account is blocked for 24 hours..
So ..in this case you have to wait..or try to change the password by reporting it forgotten ..
