I have checked the Boot order by pressing F2 at initial start up to check the set up. The boot order follows the same order as another one of the laptops that is the exact make and model. I have checked the Boot Options using F12 and what I found peculiar there is that my good machine shows The following for Legacy Options: Hard Drive, CD/DVD/CD-RW Device, Network. It sounds like the hard drive in your machine has failed. It uses a standard 2.5" SATA hard drive (Most likely 9.5mm thickness maximum, most are that.) Hopefully you have made a recovery CD set from the recovery partition on the drive.

Unfortunately this is a very confusing error, and one that does not really have a simple to write out answer. libiomp5.dll is a newer way of Intel accessing webcams, while libguide_40.dll is the old way of doing it. For some reason there is already a program using the older version of the file when your webcam program attempts to initiate the newer method. What program are you trying to use?

This may sound stupid but make sure it is plugged in. Check the operating system and hardware requirements, if they don't meet the requirements, software will not recognize the device. Try different usb ports because sometimes computers have selective hearing and make sure your computer is initially recognizing the device when it is plugged in. If all else fails, don't try to install the software and head over to computer/my computer in the start menu. Right click and select properties. Click device manager in the hardware section or the bar to the left and look in the cd drive section. If you see your drive, right click and try any option about installing.

You may receive this error if the pc fax application is closed and you have faxes stored in the memory of the machine. To resolve this issue,you will need to print the faxes already stored in the memory of the machine. To print the faxes, please follow these steps:
1. Press the MENU key.
2. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Fax.
3. Press the OK key to confirm your choice.
4. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Print Fax.
5. Press OK.
6. Press the BLACK START key.
- Your Brother machine will print the stored faxes.
7. Press the STOP/EXIT key to exit the menu.

Your Profex likely has a dead NiCD battery. You are getting this error because this battery maintains your personal effect settings on an SRAM chip that requires constant power to "live". You can try reinitializing the SRAM on your unit by doing the following:
1. Power off your Profex. 2. Press and Hold the "PLAY" and "GLOBAL" buttons while powering the unit on. 3. You should see a message on the display that reads "MEMORY INITIALIZED". Afterwards the Profex should act normal. 4. If your internal battery is getting low or is already dead, it is going to start leaking (if it hasn't already). YOU NEED TO GET THAT BATTERY CHANGED NOW!!!!! If enough battery acid leaks onto the circuit board, it will ruin your Profex forever.
