My Sharp Aquos 15 does not turn on

Keep your mobile camera on. Remote sensor face to camera and press any switch from remote. If you get light from remote sensor in camera that mins remote is ok but problem with LED remote sensor PCB

From page 8 of the manual:

The POWER indicator on the AQUOS television should light GREEN indicating you have power to the AQUOS television.

If the POWER indicator on the AQUOS television still does not light up, press TV POWER on the remote control to turn the power on.

IMPORTANT:
IF THE UNIT DOES NOT POWER ON - UNPLUG THE AQUOS TELEVISION FROM THE OUTLET AND REPEAT THE INSTALLATION STEPS.

It sounds like a main board problem. The control voltage that goes to back-light inverter board; from the main board, goes down. Contact any service technician. This is not a user repairable fault. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

Keep pressing CC button on your remote control until you see CC/TEXT OFF.

first try new batteries and be sure you have pressed the AT&T mode button at the top left of the remote - if you still have issues then on the sharp tv menu - turn off any energy saver mode, Optical Picture Control, taking the picture mode from dynamic or vivid to standard, and if that doesn't work - try changing the backlight settings if your tv has one.

if it response to tv controls ,, remote bad

try unplugging tv.

With no video and the the colored stripes, it sounds like the LVDS cable needs to be reconnected to the LCD control board or the control board itself is bad. If the unit is only 3-4 months old, it should be covered by warranty

Unplugging my TV for 15 seconds (longer actually - at least a minute) made the remote and the satellite TV remote both work again with the TV.  Thanks for the tip!

ok please open the remote then clean it with pencil eraser.
