Sounds like your TV needs and upgrade. If your TV is internet connect it should download automatically if not you need to us a flash drive and download from this website....http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/notice/pdp/pdp_reddiffusion.jsp. just need model number and serial number

You need a newer phone.

You do not list the model # of this tv. The problem however might be resolved with a firmware upgrade. http://www.samsung.com/us/ click on the su[pport link then type in your model number. This site may have a firmware upgrade available for your tv.

I have only done this once with a tv, but the procedure was to format the thumb drive, and copy the file to the thumb drive. If there is more than just the firmware file on the thumb drive, the upgrade will not work. Try formatting the thumb drive and starting over.

Don't upgrade the firmware on your Samsung BD-P1600. The firmware from Samsung is faulty and will most likely crashh your machine, Permanently !!!. I made that mistake last night. Now I have no Video output to my T.V. from any of the video outputs on the blu-ray player. Also the unit turns on but will only display LOAD , OPEN, CLOSE, ON, OFF... Nothing Works now.. This is apparently a common issue and there are several forums discussing this problem.. No fix that I have found !!

dis you try to reinstall the firmware upgrade for the ps50a450 model, that might work, cant mess it up any worse

Your model number does not check out. I would let a professional handle the upgrade. You might have downloaded corrupted data.

It sound like the control board has a problem. There is two way to fix this.

- Upgrade the firmware of the control board, If you can find the firmware upgrade device.
- Replace the control board (I think this the best solution)
