First make sure someone didn't turn off the supply valves where the washer hoses are attached to. If both are on, then try to fill machine and switch between hot and cold water. If one of the 2 temps works, the other half of the fill valve is bad. The fill valve is the part where the hoses attach to the back of the machine. It is a 2 part electric valve with 2 electric coils on the valve. Could be one coil is bad or possibly the filter screen is blocked on one side. Screens can be checked and looked at by removing hoses and looking inside end of valve. If coil is bad, complete valve needs replaced. Easy exchange, a few screws, 4 wires, and a small hose leading to inside of machine.

The mixing valve needs to be replaced. It should be under $50 and is easy to do.

Removing the lower front panel (3 screws nearest floor), and opening the round, white water pump filter cap (be ready to catch about 2 gallons of water!) is the best place to start. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and a large, flat pan (deep turkey tray works well)!

YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE what I found in my filter housing this morning (see photo below)!

The washer is working fine now, although I may go back and remove the entire water pump so it can be dismantled, thoroughly cleaned, and reinstalled.

SOURCE: water doesn't stop filling tub and tub overflows

Hello,Sounds like a problem with either the inlet valve or the pressure switch, way to determine which on is while it is filling pull the plug..if water keeps filling it's the inlet valve..if it stops filling it's the pressure switch..If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again..good luck!! GE high efficiency top load washer with H2O code. Has good pressure cleaned screens, blew out inlets, and ended up replacing water valve. It still shows code and will not fill on warm or hot. Works on...

If the Fill light is flashing or H2O SUPPLY is scrolling on the display (2015 and newer models): the washer will initiate a 3 or 4 minute lock-out period (depending on model). The washer controls won't respond or change during this time. After 3 or 4 minutes, you can choose your settings and press Start. Unplugging the washer will start the 3 or 4 minute lock-out period again.

How do I reset GTWN7450DWWwasher after code H2O supply comes on?

If the water supply valves are open, turn off the valves and disconnect the hoses. Replace the hoses. (You may have flood-prevention hoses. When these fail, the hose actually restricts water flow to avoid flooding.) If you want to test this, try placing a bucket under the inlet hoses and opening each valve in turn. Check how fast the water fills your bucket. Make sure that you cleaned the filters at the washer inlets and at the supply valves.

If the valves were closed, try running the washer with the valves open.

If that doesn't help, the flow meter valve has possibly failed or another part in that system has failed. This is part 805 on the tub and lid diagram here: https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/assembly/GTWN7450D0WW .

To purchase the part from GE, go to https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WH13X10057 . It is available at other appliance parts suppliers. The price is similar at the vendors that I consider using.

I hope this helps.
