If you have windows 7, you can right click in the photo-> Properties->Details and you will see a lot of information including the date of the picture.

You need a exif viewer, to see what date you shot the picture. Some cameras allow you to put the date visual in the photo but it must be setup before you shoot. And for these pictures you can't remove the date when you don't need it.
get the program here and load your picture in this program:

Hello, I have a Canon Power Shot sd1000 Digital ELPH. I cant get the time and date stamp to print on the pictures. How can I fix this?

If the pictures are the ones you have shot without time and date stamp, you can't add them by your camera then. You only can add them by your computer.

How do a I change the date or remove the date from a picture already taken on my Canon Power Shot A1100?

That date is part of the picture once it is taken, the only way to remove it is with software like Adobe Photoshop and you can use the Clone Stamp tool to copy a similar part of the picture and basically cover it up. With some practice you can remove it without being able to tell it was ever there.

I'have Canon power shot A460 camera.But I can't Add The time/Date Stamp on Pictures

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Turn off date and time on pictures

As long as you don't choose postcards format, it won't display date and time. You can find the setting in function set. If the pictures you have shotted, it can't be turned off by your Canon IXUD 80 IS camera but you can use Photoshop on your PC to do it.

I cannot get a date stamp in my pictures with my Canon power shot A560. I can't get the option to turn it on, it says date stamp off.

In order to get the date stamp on the pictures, the resolution/size has to be set to "Postcard". Look at the menu and you will see L, M1, M2, M3, S, and Postcard. Then you can turn on the date stamp option.

Recharge your batteries for AT LEAST 15 hours, even if your charger's light indicates full charge. You should get at least 200 pics from a charge.
