It would help to know what model bike You have because that model number can be given to any appliance parts dealer that You find locally, possibly even Sears, to get a replacement power adapter. I'm assuming Yours is like a small transformer that plugs into the wall outlet with a small cord that has a shiny metal pin on the end that plugs into Your Bike? Adapters for other Schwinn® and Nautilus® home fitness equipment can be ordered by phone at (800) 605-3369. Optional power adapter for the Schwinn® A40 elliptical, A10 and A15 upright bikes and A20 and A25 recumbent bikes. I hope that helps!

How do i replace crank bearings on my 26 in swinn sidewider

That is called the bottom bracket bearing on a bike. You will need a crank extractor and a cartridge bottom bracket tool. Park Tool has some of the best instructions available:
Bottom Bracket Service Cartridge Type (read their instructions first). You can also look at the following video to see the process.

Be sure to purchase the same length cartridge as you are replacing.

Charge battery, ride bike for about 30 to 45

5-6 years old is actually pretty old for a motorcycle battery. I would try replacing the battery first, then if you still have the problem, it is probably the voltage regulator. Honda is known for having very reliable bikes, with crappy voltage regulators in them. Yamaha's are the same there as well. I had the same problem with my Yamaha VMAX and by changing the regulator, I have not had another problem with it. You can find them on Ebay for around 50 bucks.

I am trying to replace the chain on a swinn pixie bike--but thereis a chain guard that is giving me troubles--I need to know how to assemble the chain with the guard

see if theres a master link on the chain and take off from that way you dont have to take off the guard. the master link will look diffrent from all the other links and can normally be removed with a screwdriver

Need to Add Dates in Excel

Here is one way I just tried:

Say the date purchased is in A1.

You want the Est Life in A2.

In A2 type: =A1+(3*365)
That will add 3 years.

For 5 years: =A1+(5*365)

Try it out!

Note: You will need to format the cells to Custom>mm/dd/yyyy

Examine the electrolytic capacitors on the power supply circuit board. If they have vented, then replace them with premium quality units such as Panasonic/Matsushita from Digikey. Should restore your power supply immediately and eliminate this problem for many many years. Estimated life 5-10 years. About $10.00 in parts.

Best to replace ALL electrolytics on the power supply to ensure a long life TV.
