I dont get ice water

It is unwise to put whole ice cubes in the plastic processor vessel. If you have the pyrex glass attachment, Ice is fine.

Are you having any temperature related symptoms, i.e., soft ice cream that appears to have melted slightly and refrozen, soft breads in the freezer, warm or hot outer surfaces anywhere? If cooling is not a problem whatsoever, are any of your ice cubes smaller than normal, or do you have hollow ice cubes; you would be able to crush the cubes in your hand? If either of these pertains to you, you have not enough water coming to the ice maker, due to a faulty water valve not opening completely, or your water source pressure is low. disconnect your water line from the fridge, test pressure of the water line by placing end in a bucket, turning water on. It will be obvious how the pressure is. if pressure is good to really good, you have a bad water valve on the fridge. If pressure is so-so to bad, change source water valve.
If cubes are not small nor hollow, but rather normal full size cubes, just not enough, you probably have an intermittent problem with your icemaker, replace that.

You can check to see if you have water going to the water valve (occasionally they will get plugged up at the tapper water shut off). If you do have water then you need to put 120v to the water valve. You are going to have two valves. One is for drinking and the other is for the ice maker. there are two plugs, one for each valve. Switch them. then push the water dispenser for ten seconds. No water will come out but water should come out of the ice maker. Check the ice maker to see if you have water. If you do then replace the ice maker. If you dont replace the water valve. Dont forget to put the plugs back the way you found them.

You need to remove the ice bin , remove ( save ) the ice , and defrost the bin opening with hot water . It sounds like a piece of ice got caught behind the bin flap , keeping the flap from opening fully , so cubes will go thru . When cubes cannot go thru , the crusher will crush anything that tries . Now this is the ice container only .

You gonna have a drain for the reservoir to clean the unit and a drain for the ice bin and then a connection for inlet water. The water valve is the key. Look for it.

This happened to me. If you pull the ice bin out you will see a metal bar that extends from the front to back on the bottom of the bin. Find the square hole in the back of the freezer. Stick you finger in and slide the white plastic square up or down.
The switch you are moving is the toggle from crush to cube.

Check that the crush mechanism is not jammed with ice. That could prevent it from disengaging.

could be that the ice maker arm is getting stuck or may have some frost on it. can you supply the complete model # please?

there is a solenoid in the back of the machine that operates that lever on the bottom of the ice bin. make sure that the lever is properly engaged and not stuck jammed etc.
