I am replacing my well pump/motor and need the wiring schematics. it is a Franklin Electric well submersible pump motor 3/4 HP. Do you know where I can find it?

Check power at well head. then turn power off and disconnect wire nuts. check continuity on leads to motor should read about 500,000. Check each lead to ground for shorts.

I just drilled a new well and I am considering putting a Franklin variable speed Controller on the submersible pump. My question is what effect does a variable speed controller have on the life of a pump...

It all depends if the pump motor is designed to use this type of controller. If it is then ok.
I have see no advantage to these system and some disadvantages. Money, servicing and just in general more stuff to go wrong.
You make the call on this but make sure the pump motor is right for the controller.

How do you wire a 2 wire Franklin 1/2 HP 10 GPM

you can just install a regular plug to the end of the wires and plug it in,, but you will need to add a ground wire,, if there is only 2 wires there should be 3 so look for a screw with a spiral clasp on it for the ground,,
