Try doing a deep clean on the print heads. Also check to see if there is a torn piece of paper or something stuck in the rollers. Then do a "print check" using the HP Maintenance software to see if all the nozzles are printing.
Good Luck

When I do duplex printing in my hp 2300dn, the top and bottom margins in the even and odd numbered pages differ by 1 centimeter. How to get equal margins in all pages?

If would first make sure that you have the proper paper sizes set on on the printer and in your driver. I have not had this particular experince with any 2300's. The other possibility is that one of the sensors is sticking and reading the paper size wrong, however that would normally trigger an error.

Paper feed problem

Hi

This is happening due to paper jam on the gear or roller of the paper feed mechanism. Check for any small bits of paper or sheet stuck. To check lift up the top plastic lid of the Canon printer. Check to see if a jammed sheet of paper is visible inside the printer. Remove the cartridges and check for any small paper bits stuck under the print head. Pull the paper out gently through the bottom end of the printer(if any). Close the top plastic lid. Power On the printer and check.

If it doesn't work then power off the printer, wait 10 seconds and power it back on. try once again to print. If it doesn't work then Open the Canon printer software. Click "Options" and then select the "Clean Print Heads" button.

Hp LaserJet 4100 printer says its out of paper which is not the case, could someone assist me and figure what may be causes this problem? Thanks in Advance

Hi there,

Paper jams can occur in the following areas
1 Top cover and toner cartridge area
2 Optional envelope feeder
3 Input tray areas
4 Optional duplexer
5 Output areas (top and rear)
6 Fuser area

Solving repeated paper jams
* Check all the paper jam locations. A piece of paper might be stuck somewhere in the printer. Even a small torn piece of paper in the printer path can cause repeated jams.
* If using a duplexer, check all areas (including under the duplexer).
* Check that paper is correctly loaded in the trays, that all three adjustments have been made, and that the trays are not overfilled. Make sure paper is under the front and back tabs.
* Check that all trays and paper handling accessories are completely inserted into the printer. (If a tray is opened during a print job, this might cause a paper jam.)
* Check that all covers and doors are closed. (If a cover or door is opened during a print job, this might cause a paper jam.)
* Try printing to a different output bin.
* The sheets might be sticking together. Try bending the stack to separate each sheet. Do not fan the stack.
* If you are printing from tray 1, try reducing the size of the stack.
* If printing from the envelope feeder, make sure it is loaded correctly, pushing the bottom envelopes in slightly farther than the top envelopes.
* If you are printing small sizes, feed paper short edge first.
* Turn over the stack of paper in the tray. Also try rotating the paper 180°.
* Check the characteristics of the media you are using. Use only paper that meets HP specifications (see the online user guide for paper specifications). Try using different paper to see if the problem goes away. Do not use curled, deformed, damaged, or
irregular paper.
* Avoid using paper that has already been used in a printer or copier.
* Do not print on both sides of envelopes or transparencies.
* Print only on full sheets of labels and do not print on both sides of label sheets.
* Check that the power supplied to the printer is steady and meets printer specifications (see the online user guide for printer specifications).
* Clean the printer (see the online user guide procedures).

Hope this helps.

Have a good day.

Printer is flashing orange in equal increments. When printing, I get the error message 6A00. It tells me to turn the printer off then on again. I turn it off an on again, but this does not fix the problem....

Hi
Error 6A00
The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Solution 2:
Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.

Solution 3:
Press the ink pads down in the purge unit.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Epson Aculaser C1100 - misaligned printing

Your application will actually override the settings of the printer, what i can suggest is for you to check if you are using the correct page length and margin setting in your software program.

Try using Laserjet 3 emulation driver as well
