You need to go to the Amazon web site. Select "Account & Lists," "Your Account," then "Payment Options" to update your credit card information.

If you have purchased the book online (like from Amazon) then please click on the dropdrown on Amazon orders.. it will show you the purchase history with date and time.Or chat with Amazon support to know which was your last order.

locate order in your orders list on Amazon site
press edit order button.
select change payment method.

Note: You need to register gift card on Gift Card section of Your Account before Gift Card can be used as a payment method.

go to amazon.com, your account, in amazon wallet click manage payment methods. You should see a list of all cards you registered. You may be showing an expired date. click arrow at right end of box to open info about that method. make corrections and click save. problem should be fixed.

Verify that you activated the new card. Also, note that the new card will have a different three-digit security code than the old card did. Either of these issues will cause a refusal of the card.

Verify your card information with the bank. Could be an incorrect billing address or zip code if the card #, name, exp date, and CCV code are all correct. If it's a prepaid card, there's a possibility it's not an accepted method of payment.

If you sign into your account and click on Help and then click "Go to Your Account", you get to a page with lots of links for various actions, then under Payment Methods, there is a link "Manage your Payment Methods". This will show you the cards that Amazon has registered to your account, and you can edit or delete the cards. On the previous page there is also a link to "Add a new card".This brings up a page where you can put in all the details for your new card. You can enter your details here, but they must exactly match the card details or it will be rejected when check with your card supplier.
